Polls on LinkedIn, Threads, and Mastodon

You can now add polls to your LinkedIn, Threads, and Mastodon posts in Typefully, not just X.

Write a poll once and the options carry over to every platform in your draft that supports polls. Each platform keeps its own settings, like how long the poll runs. If you set up something a platform won't accept, like too many options or an option that's too long, Typefully flags it before you publish.

How each platform works:

• LinkedIn: the poll has its own question (up to 140 characters), 2–4 options (up to 30 characters each), and runs for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 2 weeks.
• Threads: the post text is the question, with 2–4 options (up to 25 characters each). Polls run for 24 hours.
• Mastodon: the post text is the question, multiple-choice polls are supported, and option count, length, and duration follow your server's limits.

Polls are available on every plan, including Free. As on X, a post with a poll can't include images or video.
