Multitasking is not only bad for your productivity but can rewire your brain and cause:
- Mental fog

- Decrease in creative thinking
Protect your brain and focus on one thing at a time and take breaks every 2 hours to regain your energy.
2. Too much screen time
A lack of human interaction limits your brain's ability to form new and better connections
Screen addiction leads to:
- Poor sleep
- Lower energy levels
- Reduced attention spans
Limit your screen time outside of work to less than 2 hours a day
3. Lack of sleep
Sleep is your brainās way of recharging itself. It is essential for maintaining brain health.
Sleeping less than 7 hours a night leads to:
- Poor memory
- Damaged brain cells
- Attention disorders like ADHD
If you want a healthy brain prioritize quality sleep
4. Poor diet
Research shows brain areas linked to learning, memory, and mental health are smaller in people who eat too much junk food
Aim for a balanced diet with foods that preserve brain function like:
- Nuts
- Berries
- Fatty fish
- Whole grains
- Leafy green vegetables
5. No sunlight
Sunlight plays a key role in stimulating brain activity and enhancing:
- Mood
- Alertness
- Performance
- Productivity
Lack of natural light leads to chemical imbalances in the brain which cause depression
Get at least 30 mins of sun every day
6. Not drinking enough water
90% of our brain is made out of water, so staying hydrated is key to maintaining brain health

Drink at least 2L of water a day to keep your brain healthy
7. Lack of social interaction
Our brains are wired to be socially connected to people
Social isolation leads to:
- Decreased cognitive function
- Faster brain aging and decline
Talk to people in person not through social media to form a real and meaningful connection
