I have been reading this fascinating paper: direct.mit.edu/daed/article/151/2/198/110606/Signs-Taken-for-Wonders-AI-Art-amp-the-Matter-of. As we move into a world in which technology is godlike, we need to consider what gods we've created, and in whose image. There are three strands:
1. AI is going to continue to perpetuate ānormative and hegemonic ways of thinkingā - ties in with the Posthumanistsā call to āend the self-reverential arrogance of a dominant Eurocentric notion of the human.ā We need a new paradigm: alexdavidwright.substack.com/p/can-the-monster-speak
