Early engagement builds reach. It shouldn't depend on someone remembering to paste the link in #social.

It's available on any plan that supports Teams, and here’s how to set it up:

1. Connect Slack in Team settings (available on any plan that support Teams).
2. Pick a channel to notify — one per team, or a different channel for each social set.
3. Notifications are on by default. Skip on individual drafts when a post isn't for the team.

Three things changed:

• They now open in the editor sidebar by default. Hit the preview button and your post appears side-by-side with your draft, so you can keep writing while you check exactly how it'll look.
• Mobile previews are now pixel-perfect. Before, the mobile preview would resize the viewport itself based on the available screen space, while now it properly scales to fit, becoming more faithful.
• X and Threads previews are updated. We refreshed the X and Threads (the Meta platform) preview UI to match how the apps actually look today.

The result is a tighter, more predictable publishing experience, available to all users.

What this enables

• Triage on demand. Ask an agent: "Show all my drafts with open comments." Have it resolve the basic copy fixes and surface the editorial decisions worth a human eye.
• An agent editor. You leave a comment: "Hook is too soft." An agent replies in the thread with two rewrite options. You pick one. The edit applies. The thread resolves.
• An agent reviewer. Set up an agent to review each new draft and leave comments on weak hooks, factual claims, voice mismatches, repetition. You could trigger this with a tag like Agent Review.

New endpoints

All endpoints live under /v2/social-sets/{social_set_id}/drafts/{draft_id}/:

• GET /comment-threads: list threads on a draft. Filterable by status and platform.
• POST /comment-threads: create a span-anchored or post-level thread.
• POST /comment-threads/{id}/comments: reply to a thread.
• PATCH /comment-threads/{id}/comments/{comment_id}: edit a comment.
• DELETE /comment-threads/{id}/comments/{comment_id}: delete a comment.
• POST /comment-threads/{id}/resolve: mark a thread resolved.
• DELETE /comment-threads/{id}: delete the whole thread.

• Paid Partnerships: flag sponsored content or brand deals before you publish. X will display a "Paid Partnership" label on the post, keeping you compliant and transparent with your audience.
• Made with AI: Disclose when content was generated or significantly assisted by AI. X shows a "Made with AI" label so your followers know.

X expects these disclosures for sponsored and AI-generated content, and now you can take care of this from Typefully.

Your agents can now analyze post performance, manage your content calendar, tag companies on LinkedIn, create quote posts, and more.

The most requested API feature is here. You can now pull performance data for your X posts published through Typefully.

This means your agents can answer questions like "what were my top performing posts this month?" with real data. Create, schedule, and analyze — all from the same agent workflow.

You can now create quote-post-style tweets via API, MCP, and Agent Skill using quote_post_url. This is equivalent to the "Convert to quote" action in the Typefully UI.

We've improved media upload documentation and instructions for MCP, CLI, and agent workflows, including exact presigned PUT behavior. This reduces common upload failures like SignatureDoesNotMatch.

Better MCP Support in Notion

We've also improved the experience for adding Typefully's MCP server inside Notion agents, making setup smoother for Notion-based workflows.

Bold, italic, lists, and blockquotes now work in comments. Use markdown shortcuts or keyboard shortcuts like you'd expect.

If your team ships social content together, these updates make the whole workflow faster and smoother.

Company mentions now have a better flow: Typefully remembers companies you mentioned before, makes them easy to search, and keeps building a directory so you can find more results without having to look them up manually.

We also shipped an initial version of personal mentions, so you can mention LinkedIn people that you have access to in Typefully. We are actively working with LinkedIn to expand support for personal mentions, and we will share updates as this improves.

You’ll find the Assistant in the top right corner of the Typefully editor.

Previously, if you wanted to change the order of multiple images or videos in a post, you had to delete them and re-upload in the right order. The same applied to threads, moving an image from one post to another meant deleting and re-uploading.

Now you can simply drag media elements to rearrange them within a post or move them between tweets in a thread. No more tedious workarounds.

This feature is available now for all users.

Draft Activity logs every change to your drafts automatically. For each update, you'll see who made the change, when it happened, what was modified (content, tags, platforms, scheduling, publishing), and where the change came from. For example, if an AI agent created the draft, it’s labelled MCP or API.

This will help you:

• Know when to re-review after leaving feedback
• Track your team's progress without asking for updates
• Show clients their feedback was addressed
• Debug what your automations are doing
• Verify nothing changed after you approved a draft

Draft Activity is available now to all team members.

Previously, posts to X communities were automatically shared to your timeline. Now you have full control—keep your community posts within the community, or share them with your followers too.

This option is available in the publish modal when you select an X community as your destination. Simply toggle the "Share to timeline" option based on your preference.

This feature is also available in our API, giving developers the same level of control when creating drafts programmatically.

With these updates, you can now:

• Ask Claude to turn ideas into drafts using our MCP integration
• Keep Notion in sync or ping Slack when posts publish via Zapier

Alt text descriptions are crucial for accessibility, helping visually impaired users understand your visual content. With this new AI-powered generation, adding them to your posts is effortless.

This feature is included in all our paid plans, and it's part of a bigger set of AI features we're working on.

When a teammate is editing a draft, the editor now locks instantly for everyone else on your team. This prevents editing conflicts and accidental overwrites.

This improvement ensures seamless teamwork when multiple people are working on content together. It also makes Typefully work better across multiple tabs and browsers, even for individual users.

For X posts, we now precisely calculate when a post is considered "Long Form" and show the exact "Show more" cutoff as it would appear natively.

For LinkedIn posts, we accurately display how many lines of text are shown before the "…more" behavior is triggered.

You can access Realistic Preview by clicking the icon near the publishing buttons or using the keyboard shortcut Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) and searching for "Realistic Preview".

The new Drafts Sidebar allows you to drag and drop drafts directly onto your calendar, streamlining your scheduling workflow.

We've also introduced a new Queue View with a kanban-style board that makes it super fast to schedule a full week of content at once.

Plus, the monthly view now displays empty slots, giving you a clearer picture of your content schedule and helping you plan more effectively.

These improvements make managing your social media content calendar simpler and more intuitive, saving you valuable time.

Here's the revamped calendar in action:

Simply upload a PDF file to your LinkedIn post, and Typefully will automatically convert it into a swipe-friendly carousel that stands out in the feed.

Carousels are perfect for sharing step-by-step guides, frameworks, listicles, or any visual content that deserves more attention than a standard post.

To get started with Carousels, you need to be on the Creator plan or higher.

This is especially powerful for teams and agencies:

• Team members can join with their preferred login method
• Clients can sign up directly with LinkedIn
• No X account required for collaboration

We've also made Typefully fully platform-independent, and with our improvements to the drafts auto-sync feature, you can:

• Set any platform as your primary
• Automatically cross-post content across platforms
• Maintain a consistent presence everywhere with minimal effort

These improvements required months of work and significant refactoring of our codebase.

The search now looks through both the title and full text of all your drafts, delivering much more accurate results when you use the command bar — learn more about setting a draft title here.

To search your drafts, simply click the 🔍 button in the top right corner of Typefully's UI, or press ⌘ K (or Ctrl K on Windows) to open the Command Bar, then start typing. Your relevant drafts will appear quickly.

You'll also find a dedicated "Search Drafts" item in the Command Bar to ensure only drafts results appear when typing your query.

The new interface provides a smoother experience for creating and editing Tags, helping you categorize drafts more efficiently.

Use Tags to organize your content by topic, client, status, or any other system that works for your workflow — then easily filter and search your drafts using these Tags.

Perfect for agencies, power users, and anyone managing multiple content pieces across different platforms.

Now, you'll see only the first few lines of your content, followed by a "...more" separator — exactly as it appears natively on LinkedIn.

Simply click "Preview" before publishing, or search for "Realistic Preview" in our Command Bar (⌘ K on Mac or Ctrl K on Windows).

This helps you increase your content's visibility and engagement by notifying the mentioned organizations and appearing in their notifications.

Company mentions are available to all users on our paid plans. We're also exploring the addition of user mentions, which isn't currently supported by LinkedIn's APIs.

You can add up to 4 attachments per post, combining videos, pictures, and GIFs.

Using mixed media in 𝕏 posts enhances timeline aesthetics and drives higher engagement.

When writing multiple posts in the same thread, you can choose a numbering style and apply it to your threads effortlessly.

This feature is available on all our paid plans.

This enhanced preview gives you a better understanding of how your long-form post will appear in people's timelines.

To view a realistic preview, click "Preview" in our Publish or Schedule modals after selecting "Publish" or "Schedule" in the top right corner.

The default setting "Everyone (Anyone on X)" allows posts to appear normally in timelines, and you can easily search for any X Community.

Please note that posts in communities remain visible to everyone on X — learn more about it here.

When scheduling a draft, simply select "Use natural posting times for this draft". Your post will then be published within ±4 minutes of your scheduled time.

For example, a post scheduled for 3:00 pm might be published at 2:58 pm or 3:03 pm with this setting enabled.

Simply click “Add LinkedIn comment” under your draft, and your comment will go live automatically when the post is published.

This feature will help you drive engagement by kickstarting the conversation, but it's also important if you want to include a link in your post: in fact, moving links to the first comment reduces the risk of being downranked by LinkedIn's algorithm.

Our editor provides a realistic preview for your comment, ensuring it appears exactly as intended when published.

To add detailed instructions, access the improved AI settings by clicking on the ⚙️ icon in our AI Command Bar.

We've made this easier with the new “Publish now” action in the scheduled drafts options dropdown menu.

Just click and confirm, and the draft will be published right away.

You no longer need to resize images and screenshots in another tool to meet the previous 5MB upload limit — which still applies to free users.

Bluesky is quickly rising in popularity, and now you can schedule and publish your content there with a single-click from Typefully.

We already support images, GIFs, and video attachments too, with more features on the way — and of course you can use our powerful AI rewrites on your Bluesky drafts.

To get started, go to your Accounts settings or click on the draft top platforms picker to connect your Bluesky account.

You still need to log in to Typefully with your 𝕏 account, but we're working hard to add more options soon.

We’ve been working with the 𝕏 Dev team and the limit has now been raised from 2 minutes to 10 minutes.

We already support writing long form posts in Typefully, but today we're finally enabling publishing & scheduling long form posts too, thanks to the newly released 𝕏 API.

Simply create a new 𝕏 draft and enjoy the new 4,000 character limit if you're an 𝕏 Premium subscriber.

Also, we now take the first image of the draft and show it in the preview, so it's more representative of its content.

GPT-4o is OpenAI's latest model and it's smarter and faster than previous models.

You can now use it in our most popular rewriting prompts (e.g. make it punchier) as well as when you write your own custom prompts in Typefully.

To try it, click the sparkle ✨ button in the our editor, or press ⌘ J on Mac or ctrl J on Windows.

1) Bold and *italic* text is preserved when you paste into a long-form draft. 2) Bullet points from lists you copy/paste are fully preserved. 3) Newlines and paragraphs are kept as in the original doc as much as possible.

This improvement is also valid when pasting from other popular websites.

Click on "Publish" or "Schedule" and then click on "Preview" (next to the LinkedIn toggle) to see this new Realistic Preview. This gives you a precise idea of how the post will look on LinkedIn.

The post is collapsed by default (as shown on LinkedIn) with the "See more..." button available to expand it.

To optimize your posts for mobile, click on the "Mobile" toggle in the top right corner to see how it looks like on people's phones.

This update allows the finally use our AI rewriting on 𝕏, LinkedIn, and Mastodon drafts.

You can select any text to rewrite, improve grammar, condense, make it punchier, and much more.

You can now drag & drop scheduled drafts on the 📆 Calendar view.

You can finally write 𝕏 long form posts in Typefully.

We can't support publishing and scheduling yet, but there’s a workaround: you can in fact copy the long form text from Typefully to manually post in on 𝕏.

As soon as 𝕏 adds long form support to their API, you'll be able to schedule and publish directly from Typefully.

This is the third platform supported in Typefully, after 𝕏 and LinkedIn. However, what makes this update particularly important is that it includes a complete revamp of Typefully's editor and core functionality, paving the way to add more platforms soon.

Mastodon support, just like LinkedIn, is part of our Creator plan.

You can now directly create a LinkedIn draft by clicking on the new drop-down menu in the "New draft" button.

You need to be at least on the Creator plan to connect a LinkedIn account.

We've added new commands to quickly add emoji to your posts, so you can save a few minutes. Just search for "emoji" on Vesper to try them.

Tags are part of the Creator plan. You can also easily filter and search drafts by tag via the Command Bar - which you can invoke via the usual Ctrl/Cmd+K shortcut.

This new feature empowers creators to analyze metrics more effectively and double down on their best performing content.

Easily create giveaways, send content to your community, and boost engagement on your tweets. Creators who tried the beta have gained hundreds of followers.

With Typefully, it's easy to publish your content on LinkedIn. Connect your LinkedIn account and cross-post your tweet and threads on LinkedIn. That's it.

This new integration is part of our paid Creator plan.

It's now easy to repurpose your published posts: just click on "Pick" in an empty queue slot, and then check out the new "Repurpose published posts" tab.

For example, you’ll be notified about:

You can find notifications in the in-app menu, and customize what you receive via email in the Notification settings.

What this means for teams

The new notifications give teammates more visibility on what gets published and when.

In the example below, Fabrizio enabled email notifications even for tweets and threads that are published on the Typefully account, which in part of a team.

You can drag any scheduled post in a free slot, or drag it over a different post to swap their orders. This is also a very convenient way to make space in your content queue for new content.

We've received a ton of feedback regarding scheduling in Typefully, and this release addressed the main issues and requests.

We added a dedicated next free slot button and keyboard shortcut (Cmd Option Enter)  to make scheduling faster than ever. As you can see, we even create a new empty draft so you can write a new tweet or thread right after scheduling:

Besides having its own dedicated page, the full queue experience now also lives in the sidebar. This means you can quickly create scheduled tweets or threads, one after the other, and see them in the context of the entire queue.

Just click on the new automatic tweet numbering button and pick your preferred style.

Just click on the new GIF button on the current tweet toolbar to start searching.

Click the new "quote" icon in Typefully's editor bottom toolbar to automatically quote the first tweet of your thread.

This is great for important tweets and threads that you're working on.

When you paste text from Notion, Word, Apple Notes (and many more sources) it removes useless formatting, it expands links, format lists with nice bullet points, and more.

You'll also see a new Make thread notification that will trigger our smart splitting behavior.

So you can now easily import any text in Typefully and transform it into a thread in a single click.

We partnered up with Thomas from Minimal Twitter, so you can start writing a thread on Twitter and continue on Typefully.

Install the extension (available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge) and then start writing a thread to see the new Continue thread in Typefully button, right under the Twitter composer.

You can now create new drafts with a URL parameter, like this: https://typefully.com/?new={your content here}.

The content will become the text of a new draft. It has to be URL-encoded, and if we find 4 empty newlines, we'll split the text into separate tweets too.

iOS Shortcut

The first use case we've found is an iOS Shortcut to start a new Typefully draft. It's really useful when you start writing on Twitter and you want to continue in Typefully.

Raycast Quick Link

For the Raycast users out there, you can create a Quick Link to start a new Typefully draft from anywhere. Here's how to set it up:

This update prepares Typefully for big features and improvements we have in our roadmap.

Auto Retweet

You can now schedule retweets for your new threads based on the engagements they get. This is very useful if you want to make sure your threads are seen among different timezones, and to boost their engagement over time.

Auto Plug

It's very hard to tell which threads will go viral, and it only makes sense to plug your website or newsletter in the best-performing ones.

We've made it easy to do so by letting you set up "auto plugs" that will be attached to your threads only if they reach certain thresholds.

More improvements

We've improved the scheduling interface to be more intuitive and useful. You can quickly select the next free slot in the queue, or pick the best time based on your analytics.

You will also notice some improvements in the recently added threads sharing functionality.

Write threads, schedule, and publish on all your Twitter accounts, seamlessly.

Just click on your avatar in the top right corner of the app to add your other Twitter accounts.

You can also easily move drafts between accounts.

• You can now share your Typefully drafts with anyone to get feedback before publishing.
• Attach the same link to your thread and it will show a beautiful "unrolled" version when it's published.

We're excited to introduce a new Typefully feature to discover when you get the most engagements, which is a great proxy of when it's a good time to tweet.

It's just a first step, and we're going to improve this a lot, so feedback is welcome (you can DM us or drop an email.

Open your Typefully Grow tab and you'll find the new charts. We even show a little "+" button on each daily chart to quickly add a suggested slot to your tweeting schedule.

Good image descriptions are concise and descriptive, helping people understand what’s happening in an image.

We're very excited to finally bring this accessibility feature to all Typefully users. Just click on the new +ALT button in the thread preview to write and add your descriptions.

The editor is now super snappy, even when writing long threads with tons of tweets, and the Grow tab charts are now equally fast, with shorter loading times.

We've introduced a new Grow tab to help you understand your account's performance. It's part of the Typefully Pro subscription.

We didn't just stop at obvious metrics, but really decided to understand what's the best way to grow on Twitter, and create the best tool to help you accomplish that.

You'll find for example a unique Profile Conversion Rate chart we've created. We constantly check how many new people are following you and compare it to the number of profile clicks that your tweets are getting and create this synthetic metric to help you understand how well your profile is doing.

We'll also always show you how your last tweet or thread is doing, and you'll be able to check the same metrics for all your tweets, even those not published with Typefully.

Press the new zen mode button too see the interface disappear, leaving your content front and center.

Revamped editor design ✍️

Drafts are organized in tabs now, their previews are bigger, and you can even resize the thread preview sidebar.

Better mobile experience 📱

The text editor now perfectly resizes to accommodate the on-screen keyboard, and a floating toolbar lets you easily add images or create a new draft.

Switching to the thread preview is also now animated and easier on the eyes.

• 🌆 Images support. This was the most request feature and it's finally here. Just drag and drop an image in the editor and it will be uploaded. You can also easily copy-paste images between threads.
• 💬 Links to other tweets now correctly show as quoted tweets.
• 👤 User suggestions now appear when you type a @user handle.
