Zdi se nemogoče, da v času izobilja najdemo ljudi, ki ne pokrijejo dnevnih prehranskih potreb. Kalorije so dostopne na vsakem koraku - poceni in okusne.
Ob upoštevanju dejstva, da 60 % Slovencev ima težave s kilogrami, gre za očiten paradoks.
In med tem ko se večina bori s presežki maščobnih zalog, ironično v svetu zdravja in dobrih navad, srečaš drugo težavo - ljudje uživajo polnovredno hrano, a premalo kalorično.
Vzroki kalorično pomanjkljivega jedilnika so:
- Stres
- Nereden jedilnik
- Kronično hujšanje
- Strah pred določenimi tipi hrane
- Neupoštevanje individualnih potreb
- Pogosta/visokointenzivna telovadba
Težave pogosto ne opazimo, dokler nekdo s prstom ne pokaže na očitno.
Kateri so znaki, da verjetno ne uživaš dovolj kalorij?
01 NE MOREŠ SHUJŠATI
Izguba teže pri nizkokaloričnih dietah in intenzivni vadbi je lahko ovirana zaradi sprememb v hormonih.
Telo se prilagodi z ⬇️ ščitničnih hormonov in ⬆️ kortizola, kar vodi do zadrževanja telesne maščobe in ustavitve izgube teže.
Počasi se daleč pride
02 NE MOREŠ ZANOSITI
Nosečnost je velik energetski zalogaj. Večji kot večina žensk misli.
Preveč telovadbe in premalo kalorij = kaloričen deficit, ki ga telo hitro zazna. Možgani pošljejo jajčnikom signal, da vlada pomanjaknje in uspešna nosečnost ni možna.
03 NIHANJE KR SLADKORJA
Premalo kalorij povzroči hipoglikemijo ali nizko raven sladkorja v krvi, zlasti v kombinaciji z vadbo.
Simptomi vključujejo lakoto, tresenje, zmedenost.
Vzdržna dieta za izgubo teže zagotavlja dovolj kalorij (ironično) za uravnoteženje krvnega sladkorja
04 NIHANJE VOLJE
Izraz "hangry" ali "snickers sindrom" opisuje jezo zaradi lakote
Nezadostna prehrana povzroči nizko raven sladkorja v krvi, kar vpliva na samokontrolo. Kar vodi do težav s koncentracijo, uravnavanjem čustev in povečano impulzivnostjo
lakota = agresija
05 SLAB SPANEC
Nespečnost se pogosto izboljša z ustrezno kalorično prehrano. Posebej s povečanim vnosom ogljikovih hidratov.
⬇️ kalorij + pretirana vadba = ⬇️ zaloge glikogena v jetrih.
Kar povzroči sproščanje kortizola / adrenalina 👉 zbudiš ponoči
06 KRONIČNO ZAPRT
Kronično premalo kcal povzroči zaprtje.
1. Manjši vnos hrane zmanjša količino 💩.
2. Podhranjenost privede do zmanjšanja aktivnega ščitničnega hormona T3, kar upočasni prebavo in vodi do zaprtja.
Preden spiješ 1l Donata, preveri kalorije.
07 VEDNO ZMRZLJIV
Poletje ali zima, sonce ali senca, vedno te zebe.
Če zaužiješ premalo kalorij, telesna temperatura pade. To je zaradi manjše proizvodnje toplote in sprememb v hormonih, kot je ščitnični hormon.
Če te vedno 🥶, verjetno ne jéš dovolj.
08 IZGUBA LAS
Izguba las je znak pomanjkanja hranil, npr. kcal & beljakovine. Pomanjkanje spolnih hormonov (prav tako posledica ⬇️ kcal) težavo poslabša.
Če lasje masovno izpadajo, preveri jedilnik. Uživanje dovolj kcal in beljakovin pomaga ustaviti izpadanje.
👉 Kako ustaviš stradanje & dvigneš vnos kcal?
Odločitev, koliko kalorij rabiš dnevno, je zapletena, vendar lahko začneš z množenjem idealne telesne teže z 25. Dodaj kalorije, če si aktiven ali dojiš. Npr., ženska, visoka 165 cm in težka 57 kg, ne sme zaužiti manj kot 1.250 kcal
Kalorične potrebe se spreminjajo glede na aktivnost in posebne okoliščine, npr, nosečnost/ puberteta/dojenje....
Različne vadbe rabijo različne količine kcal.
Pomembno je, da najdeš pravo količino hrane, ki najbolje ustreza tebi, brez nepotrebnih omejitev ali stradanja.
