🤝💕 Community is an especially important role in web3 and NFTs and I think it is so vital to get it right. As someone who has built multiple communities from the ground up on web2 platforms, this has been such a rewarding experience. But what does community mean? /3

🤝💕 Community to me means creating connections in an authentic way, building something together that lasts a lifetime, reaching out our hands to those knocking on the door of web3 wherever they may be. /4

🤝💕 Community builders create space, they are proactive, they lead with kindness, and they nurture their members with care and love. They treat their audience with respect and they collaborate with their community in new and exciting ways. I believe @MyBFF has done this. /6

🤝💕 Community is also about creating a space where your members feel a sense of safety and belonging. Where they feel included, where they see you, through actions as a diverse team, have built a space where they see themselves spending their time and energy. That's the key. /8

🌈✨ On that note, let's talk a bit about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility. I've written a number of threads on these issues before but I want to reiterate here just how committed I and BFF are to building for all in this space. /9

🌈✨ There are people who have contacted me in the past 3 months who have been really excited to work with me on DEIBA in this space and trust me, I am SO eager to work with you as well. I'm ready to do so much more work than we've already done. /12

🌈✨ However, transparently, we will do this together and in the open where possible so that the community sees the change happening. We'll make sure as an ecosystem that together we make an impact that lasts lifetimes and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. Believe that. /13

🌈✨ We also won't sacrifice the level of communication, education, and professionalism that you expect from myself and BFF. The team does everything possible, especially during our recent mint, to ensure that the community is cared for time and again. /14

🤝🌈 In conclusion, I hope to continue working with the BFF community to bring joy and excitement to this space while also moving the whole of web3 forward in every way imaginable. Thank you to the BFF team, and thank you to the BFF community for joining us on this journey. 🧵📌
