Celebrating International Women's Day in Web3

It's March 8th, and I must say a few things about today while everyone celebrates women in web3. Happy International Women's Day 🌈💖 I've been in the space for a little over a year and a half now, and I wasn't afraid of being out as trans from the start. 🧵

This is my chance to show a whole new set of people the excellence and wonder that queer people are capable of. To introduce myself to thousands of people who didn't know me before. Even though politicians campaign for my eradication and taking away our rights 2/14

Today I celebrate women I've met through this magical technology who inspire me. Starting with 👇🏻

🧟 @betty_nft Starting strong with undoubtedly one of the most influential and rightfully most outspoken at times. Betty gets shit done, takes names, kicks ass, all while having moved across the world for the Horde.

⚡ @lorigraceaz Literally the first person I met in web3 who helped me feel like I could possibly belong here and make something of myself. If you need someone to talk to about DEI, she's got you covered. One of the best Spaces Hosts and a wildly talented photographer.

🔮 @emileevee Emily is like if these emojis 🎲💖😜💜🪐🤗 had a baby and it tumbled into a cute little vortex. I'll never forget she was the first person in web3 I met in real life. She's also the energy and embodiment of @ZenAcademy as Head of Marketing 👀

🌱 @me256ow I recently had the great privilege of speaking with Meowy and I am wildly impressed by both her developer skills and the way they have been building community at @devdaowomen If you're looking for a developer definitely check out Meowy 🌈💖

🪬 @chancysofancy I've gotten to know Chancy through a shared interest in niche memes 😂 But most importantly her love and care for women in the space. She truly does speak from the heart and knows her way around tough conversations. Definitely a star ✨

📓 @AshcroftAly I've been part of a number of community events that Aly has organized. Each of them have been engaging, creative af, and innovative. Zines, daily practice in public, snail mail, all things that build trust and bonding, especially among fellow artists.

💃 @KimboNFT She doesn't have a signature emoji 😂 but this woman is a freakin powerhouse. Mom, extraordinary people connector, social media lead @decentraland and so much more. Kim is the one you want in your corner, she's got your back 💪🏻

💓 @ineffabelle_eth When it comes to holostic education that is all encompassing of the diverse ways people learn and receive information, she leads the pack. I'm incredibly privileged to be her friend and work together on making this space more complete.

As for myself, I am a voice for community builders in web3 and founder of @together_xyz where I and dozens of others guide people of all skill levels through this career path. Keep a close eye on that account. A shift is coming to how we build community.
