Hey #DataFam, here's a quick post on how you can create a circular map in @TableauPublic, using a circle drawn in @QGIS.
Basic steps:
1. Draw/create circle map layer
2. Clip your desired geographies to the circle
3. Create your map

In the previous thread, I created a rectangle layer in @QGIS... it's the same process to create a circle layer.
You need to create a temporary layer (polygon) & draw a circle around the desired geography (w/ digitizing & shape tools). Zoom in if helpful. Save as a shapefile.

This time, we also want to clip the desired map layers to the circle. The clip tool cuts out the "input layer" based on boundaries of the "overlay" layer (like a cookie cutter).
Here, I clipped the roads (major & minor) & buildings... and saved these layers as shapefiles.
You can then use these map layers to design your circular map in @TableauPublic. The circle layer can be used in different ways, e.g. as a background, border, or marker/extent indicator in a locator map.
One benefit of this approach is that you only need one sheet...
