Oh, I so wonder why folks end up hating security and automation. Of course they do when their first experience is a REPEATED PUNCH TO THE FACE!
Most projects: PRs opened, automagically tested, merged, released, sent to prod. Manual effort and human involvement needed like once a quarter.
Node.js projects: manual dependency unfucking needed pretty much every month. Or every week. Or every day if there's a thing happening
