Coming near to the end of @ReFiPodcast S3, I wanted to reflect on key moments from our FIRST season supported by @ToucanProtocol and the @gitcoin #GR12 community.
Our journey in Nov 2021 began with a simple question:

In #GR12, my first @gitcoin round, I was totally new to the scene and yet an anon collective called momus.eth donated $10,000 DAI on the third day of the round. π€―
I was totally blown away. Their message still gives me chills π

Moved by the generosity of momus.eth, I began drawing up a list of names for guests I wanted to talk to...
I met with my co-host @johnx25bd from @ToucanProtocol who kindly opened my eyes "You do realize that all of these guests are white males?"

Initially blinded by my own bias but encouraged to grow, our first recorded episode "On Inclusion" set the stage for regeneration in web3 with the right framing:
"How can web3 pivot to serve those most affected by climate change?"

"Welcome to ReFi" kicked off with the empirical basis for climate change, inspired by my course at @terradotdo.
@johnx25b and I began to outline "What is ReFi?" and looked opportunity for blockchain ecosystems to scale climate action.

In speaking with another VC, @Kristine1ise, we got a pioneer's view into the emerging biodiversity market as an evolution of the market built on carbonβsomething that seems to be gaining serious momentum in 2024.
