Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

As a kid, I was always asking 'why?'
Now, after 52,596 hours of spiritual practice, my questions are finally answered.
Here are 11 profound insights to save you time on the meditation cushion—
1. Formal meditation is unnecessary (though useful in the beginning).
Meditation = practice of mindfulness.
Mindfulness = seeing things as they are.
Seeing things as they are = freedom.
Investigate experience moment-to-moment, whether you're on the meditation cushion or not.
2. Solitude is a state of mind.
I used to fantasise about running off to the monastery to 'get away from it all'.
Truth is, 'it' is all in the mind.
Wearing an orange robe doesn't magically cure our neuroses.
Mindfulness does, though. And we can practise that anywhere.
3. It's impossible to distrust yourself.
If you think you're untrustworthy, you're trusting that you're untrustworthy.
You also qualify or disqualify every piece of advice you ever receive, and every teacher you ever learn from.
This is possible because you're naturally wise.
4. This—right here, right now—is all there is.
Any past, future, or distant location you imagine is just that: imaginary.
Civilisation is built on the power of abstract thought.
But don't neglect the truth of direct experience.
5. You're not who you think you are.
Thoughts are thoughts. They come and go.
Any version of yourself that exists in your mind is just a beautiful daydream.
(Spoiler: all versions of yourself exist in your mind.)
6. Real compassion includes yourself.
It's not about killing yourself doing 13 hours at the soup kitchen.
A burned out empath is useless.
Take care of yourself to take care of others.
7. Outcome independence is the way to desired outcomes.
Right before I met my wife, I was ready to stop dating because I didn't need anyone anymore. I'd become happy on my own.
She & I spoke about interdependent relationships on our first date.
I didn't need her, so I got her.
8. You don't need reasons to be kind, you need reasons to be unkind.
If you were perfectly satisfied, then someone came to you for help, you'd have no reason to deny them.
Kindness is your natural condition.
9. There are 2 kinds of happiness.
Happiness no.1 is interpreted from things, people, and events, which come & go.
Happiness no.2 arises naturally in the absence of coming & going.
No.1 obscures no.2.
No.2 is optimal for mutual benefit.
10. Everything changes. Everything.
This is why attachments are problematic.
You'll never be able to hold on to the objects of your desire.
The only discernable solution is to let go.
11. The similarities among wisdom teachings are far more important than their differences.
At the root of them all are lessons on—
• self-awareness
• freedom
• acceptance
• gratitude
• compassion
