1. I have minted an edition of “De-fragmented” by @Bryanbrinkman. While Bryan’s description of this piece talks about jumbled memories, it means something very different to me. Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I’ve…
2. been suffering through some health issues that have thrown me off. When I first saw this series, it immediately resonated with me - it feels as though it represents broken people, just as I feel. I was first drawn to the piece “Dead Man Walking”
3. The subject of Dead Man looks broken, but continues on. That is how I have felt recently, but I do not see much hope there. I choose not to continue broken; I choose to heal.
4. Instead, I chose De-fragmented because, to me, it represents hope that no matter how fragmented - broken - we may be, we can defragment ourselves and get better. That is where I live today - with hope and certainty of being better.
5. Bryan, thank you for creating such beautiful and meaningful work. While the meaning that I found may not be what you intended, I think we have both found something special in your work.
