Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

Story No. 3 | What's cooking series
V has lived in Bangalore for 22 yrs and calls it a second home. He lives with his wife and daughter in a private community.
His wife works part-time from home while their cook helps manage the cooking. V's parents reside in Mysore. 👇
For starters: 🛣️
What's Cooking?' is a research series about how urban millennials in households consume food.
The names and personal information of the participants are kept private to protect their privacy.

Food preferences of the family: 🥗
• V follows a low-carb keto diet, while his wife is a pure vegetarian.
• Their cook comes in the morning to prepare breakfast and lunch, not dinner.
• The menu for dinner is not set, and they eat outside food 3-4 times a week for dinner.
'My mom packs meat from Mysore for the week and sends it to Bangalore.' 🚗
• Dinner can be complicated for V because the family has to cook dishes for different diet patterns.
• V gets his meat prepared by his mom in Mysore and stocks it in the fridge for weeks.
• Ordering healthy food from apps has been helpful for V, and he frequently orders from 'Lo', a low-carb restaurant.
• There are sometimes disagreements when V pushes the family to adopt a healthier diet, but he also recognizes that everyone has their own preferences.
Wildlife photography, travel and idly! 📸
• Varun is a hobbyist wildlife photographer.
• He travels on the weekends to the city's outskirts which are clubbed with his interest in exploring new food places.
• Most of his recommendations come from his fellow travellers.
A decade-old love for organic vegetables and groceries 🍅
Varun orders most of their groceries online, and they rarely walk into a store to buy something. He orders from organic stores like Boomi farms and Kala farms. They order from BB or Amazon when they don’t get items here.
Since the community is far from the heartland, the members procure organic food from nearby farms, and their contacts are widely shared in the WhatsApp groups.
Before these online apps, V used to get his organic products from Mysore to his Bangalore home.
Community, potluck and WhatsApp groups: ❤️
• Since V's community is far from the city centre, it relies on the community for socializing.
• Potlucks and home cooks posting dishes that can be ordered in a WhatsApp group are central to the community's connection.
• V prefers ordering from the community when his wife is out of town and looks forward to weekend potlucks, which are a chance to catch up with friends and reconnect with the community.
I order food for my parents in Mysore from Bangalore on apps. 📲
• V's parents don't often eat out due to health concerns and difficulty going out.
• They have recently started ordering food from select restaurants through delivery apps but only order one or two dishes.
• V places the order to deliver food in Mysore from Bangalore as their parents aren't tech-savvy.
As diet preferences become more personal, it's interesting to see how households adapt in the long run. It's possible for families with contrasting diet preferences to make it work with flexibility.
