Marketing is not popular because people think it has to be sleazy of salesy. If you don't want to be salesy, don't be. At a networking event, you are creating relationships. Why not see your marketing this way too?
1. Your Email signature. You send emails to people all day. Why not add a call to action to your newsletter, free training, guide, template, challenge or other thing in your signature. If you don't have an offer yet, fine, send them to your website.
2. Your content. Place call to actions on your content for people to see your offers. You took the time to make the YouTube video, write an article or post on IG. Tell people what to do next to get to know you more. Be strategic and clear.
3. Make your Bio clear. Your Bio is prime real estate for people who are curious to know more. If your bio is clear, easy to understand and shows value, people will follow and even take further actions to seek more of your content out.
4. Social Banners. Your profile banners are a great place to give people even more context of what you are about. Make an image or video that is on brand, easy to understand and complimentary to your Bio.

5. Target your content to your audience. Make content you enjoy and that others will get to know you more by. Be personal but on target with your messaging. There is no right way to do this. Keep testing ideas by posting and you will find what people 'vibe' with over time.
6. Collaborate. Have conversations in comments and threads. Contribute to people's thoughts and shares. Reach out to people via DM if you think there are opportunities for a podcast interview or collaborations where a win-win is possible.
7. Pinned posts. Twitter and Facebook, have this feature. Pin a post to the top of your profile to extend your bio to give more context. Ask to join a newsletter, or check out a free training. A low barrier offer to bring people one step closer to a conversion.
8. Email Newsletters. When people subscribe to an email newsletter, they want to know more about you and a step closer to your world. Focus on value. Strategically add collaborations, sponsors, affiliates and products you are building.
9. Google My Business. A business listing on Google, even for an online business is important. Not just for for maps, but also to give people more information on Google if they search your business. Credibility goes a long way online.
These are low friction ways to get people to see what you offer with you asking them directly. A combination of consistent content draws people to your funnel (your profiles, your website or landing page, your offers) leading then to buy from you.
