3 Things are critical for podcasting.
- Podcast hosting at a reasonable price
- Getting good quality guests, which can be challenging
- Promoting your show. The adage slow and steady wins this race is the 🔑 here. 🔽

2/ Outreach to get guests is by far the most challenging and time consuming part.
Services like @wearematchmaker make this process a little easier.
3/ Be sure to research your guest BEFORE the recording. Listen to other podcasts they've been on. Think of questions you and your audience would like answered.
Ask your audience what they would like answered by your guest.

4/ Scheduling podcast guests and ensuring they show up can be tricky. Using @acuity to book the interviews on specific time slots, send Zoom links and collect relevant info, make the process easy.

6/ Relying on organic traffic is a surefire way to hitting a wall. When promoting to get more listens focus on a few core social channels.
7/ Publish your podcast on your website. Use a good clean design. Add your guests profile and link back to their website and socials. It's the right thing to do.
