Did I... mint a piece of one of the most historic NFT art pieces to date? Probably heard of the artist @XCOPYART... but this piece, quite literally, is impossible to assemble without the collective interaction of the NFT holders like @punk6529@CozomoMedici@Vince_Van_Dough
It all started at @GrailersDAO where I ran into two active members @mathewe and @bonafidehan who are busy building @0xDecaArt a free-to-use gallery platform (check it out). It is great and they are super responsive and helpful and the platform continues to be improved.
They have been silently working in the background on an interesting project that was only hinted at recently called the Decaverse. A project that began with the minting of the Octagon - I believe you can still mint it if you haven't. deca.art/octagon
Through involvement in the Decaverse, like making a gallery and following other Deca artists/collectors you can gradually unlock additional utility and level up your Octagon. If you were one of the early 512 holders and Quote Retweeted you were in for a surprise...
The most recent series of actions led to the minting of a "Right Click Share" token... a part of an image that produces the polar opposite of the other iconic "Right Click Save" guy by @XCOPYART held by non-other than @CozomoMedici. What a narrative! Holy.
What exactly is this "Right Click Share" token? It looks like a plain purple square! If you ever participated in the artèQ & @belvederemuseum “The Kiss" NFT drop it shares some similarities, the holder NFT is part of 1024 pixels that make up the "Right Click Share" guy...
Here's the difference that really matters though... the 1024 pixel "Right Click Share" guy requires the holders to annually attest to make the piece whole! Right Click Share #0 🖼️ was sent to a burn address and can only be viewed. deca.art/token/0xd16809C0a7d82C9E7552a01Fd608fFF90EFb564f/0
This small difference is what makes the piece so different. It visually represents the collective strength of community while simultaneously exhibiting the power and the future of art through NFTs. Maybe deeper it hints at our defiance and intention to build things better.
