Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

Wow that’s SHARP!
Let’s get to know the StarkWare SHARed Prover🧵:
Cairo is a Turing-complete language which enables you to write PROVABLE programs and it powers many production systems today:
• Sorare
• ImmutableX
• dYdX
• RhinoFi
• StarkNet
• <your Cairo code>
All of which need to be PROVED to the STARK verifier on Layer 1.
Since PROVING is shared across multiple execution sources SHARP acts as both a prover and a job scheduler.
Jobs are split into:
• Applicative jobs = sent from clients
• Recursive jobs = sent from the SHARP itself
These jobs are batched together in "trains" with each train ready to leave the station once it has jobs totaling more than 2^25 “cairo-steps”(steps of the Cairo VM).
By batching these jobs into trains the SHARP can amortize/split the gas cost for submitting the PROOF across all the transactions within that proof allowing for:
• separation of proving logic and business logic
• economies of scale
The proving time of a train grows quasi-linearly and the proof validation on-chain is poly-logarithmic in the number of steps.
Prover: O(n * log(n))
Verifier: O(poly-log(n))
So the more steps you add to the proof, the more efficiency you get (and the less gas you pay).
Simplified Log Intuition for Mortals w/ @EliBenSasson:
The Logarithm of a number is roughly the amount of digits needed to write that number:
log of 1,000,000 = 6 (# of zeros)
log of 1,000,000,000 = 9
log of 1,000,000,000,000 = 12
Assume each additional order of magnitude in steps costs 1 million gas:
Train w/ 1,000,000 steps
log(1,000,000) x 1,000,000 = 6 million gas
Amortized Gas Cost: 6 gas/step
Train w/ 1,000,000,000 steps
log(1 Billion) x 1 million = 9 million gas
Amortized Gas Cost: 0.009 gas/step
SHARP is a crucial piece in how StarkWare plans to give design optionality to devs and bring sustainable scalability into the Ethereum ecosystem!
