I'm extremely excited to announce the launch of our first SCS Labs brand, @SCSLabsResearch! It will be the first of 3 SCS Labs businesses including a DeFi Research Hub, Project Consulting, and Venture Capital. Time to finally share the details of what we are building! 🧵

It's almost exactly one year since I went full-time DeFi. When planning for 2023, I realized how lucky I am to do trade, build a community, and share knowledge full-time. We recognized that there is a massive gap in high-quality Web 3 content and want to fill that gap. The current content landscape has issues... pick one: 1. Concentrates on majors only (BTC/ETH) 2. Presenter isn't knowledgeable 3. Same projects reviewed 4. Content is poor quality

The goal of @SCSLabsResearch is to give back to the Web 3 community and onboard new people. The goal is to grow Web 3 understanding across retail, degens, and hopefully OGs too. To accomplish this, we will cover project launches, deep dives, NFTs, and news/events. Large Task.

Retail - Questions I get often: 1. How do you go about researching projects? 2. What gems are on your radar? 3. What tools do you use to find alpha? So for those still learning... I'll cover the top tools, what to look for in projects, and deep-diving prelaunch white papers.

In order to satisfy the degens and OG's, I personally need to spend as much time as possible doing research and alpha hunting. Cutting/editing content isn't in my wheelhouse. In order for me to concentrate on alpha, I've built out a team of rock stars to edit/cut content.

The team has been steadily growing and they are an insanely talented group of individuals. I'll also be introducing them in the near future. With that said, talented workers that also know crypto aren't easy to find... or cheap.

I built the team first and we're confident we were creating something special that everyone in Web 3 will enjoy. We're hoping to make a splash from day one and grow quickly enough to cover expenses. I'm a risk taker after all...

We need your help! In order to help us fuel hyper-growth across our Youtube/TikTok/Instagram, we've come up with a master plan to reward the largest contributors, partners, and those who go above and beyond to help grow the channel. We will keep details a secret for now.. 😉

SCS Labs Consulting - Today I'm spending somewhere between 50-75% of my days consulting projects and meeting new people. Connecting projects, building tokenomics, and fundraising have been my specialties. Soon I'll be assembling a dream team to help consult net new projects! 👀

SCS Labs Angel Investing - Angel Investing has been a passion of mine because it aligns with my project-hunting skills. Ideally profits from consulting + research arms will be rolled into supporting new ventures. We will be hand-picking some analysts to help grow the VC

How to get involved? Right now, all we ask is that you help spread the word. Early contributors that drive traffic will be rewarded in the future! For SCS Labs Research, we might be adding another editor for short-form content (insta/TikTok). If interested, DM me your work!

Future Hires - In the coming months, we will be hand-picking consulting resources to help out with early/pre-launched projects. (1-2 People) We will also be looking for analysts to evaluate, break down, and report on upcoming projects. We will start with 1-2 and grow to 3-4.

If you'd like to join SCS Labs as an analyst or be recognized as an early contributor the best way to get noticed is to prove value. If you edit, ask for a raw vid and edit it so we can see you are capable. Analysts can ask for some projects to evaluate and bring back reports.
