I'm not sure what @olemoritz - its extra-human creator - would tell you if you asked why it has not technically been updated on the app store in quite a while but *my* answer...
there is not a *single* problematic deprecation in the way the app's current release version functions today on my 12.9" iPad Pro running on iPadOS' developer release channel. I haven't found a *single* reproducible unexpected behavior.
...importantly, not on the two *older* versions of the app I've been running on my iPad Air 2 (last build of iOS 12) and iPhone 4S (last build of iOS 9), either.
so As For Me and My House, there are zero reasons to expect or request any changes to the app as it is... yet I could abandon every other space/product/methodology in which I manipulate text for this one and - no lie - almost certainly be *better off* in far too many regards.
(note that statement would not so confidently apply to the iP4S but... damn you would be fucking astonished how close it comes.)
