#ArtMarketing#MarketingStrategy
1. What to say to subscribers
A good art newsletter can keep subscribers updated on:
• When new work becomes available for purchase
• When there are upcoming exhibitions or talks
• Any changes to your website or social media accounts
2. Stay in touch with your audience
Newsletters are a great way to reach your audience. People are more likely to open an email than read a post on social media (if they see it!), and you can create a special message that’s tailored just for them.
3. Use a dedicated platform
Use Mailchimp or a similar email marketing service to create your email capture pages, manage your subscribers' list and send them the emails. Mailchimp can be integrated with almost every website, which is even better.
4. Do it monthly
The ideal frequency for sending a newsletter is once a month. It’s important to be consistent and make sure your readers know what to expect when they open their inboxes.
5. Keep it short
A good practice is to keep your emails short — no one wants a long-winded message explaining every detail of your work. Include valuable content (with some exclusivity for instance) without wasting anyone’s time.
You're doing it for THEM, not for you.
Just like with social media, it’s important to give email updates on your work and let people know when there are opportunities to buy or see your work.
Develop your community and be closer to them thanks to newsletters.
