This is wild 💥
Virtual try-on part 2, left is real right is 100% AI
This will change e-commerce for ever:
Let's look at the quality of the @sloggi bra here. It's a near perfect representation from their crappy low res e-commerce photo on their site.
Not only is the bra extremely well reproduced, it's possible to generate any model wearing it. Creating a full inclusivity line-up, mixed models, mixed sized models etc. Even doing a VTO (virtual try on) on your own model showcasing you.
Another close-up of a SLOGGI bra here. This is already 10x better then their existing low res photos they use on their own website 🤯🤯
Ohh by the way while you are here, I'm writing a newsletter about AI, Tech and being a #girldad

If we look at this example from yesterday is also super clear that there are no direct limitations to using your own trained model, or wearable products. Even interior photos for furniture brands and home wares seems to be working well, more on that later

What are your thoughts on this?
Yesterday a lot of people was mentioning that this would never scale, or that its not good enough etc.
I want to point towards where we where with generative AI just 36 months ago.

We could barely generate a green blob, that was supposed to look like a avocado. And here we are today, being able to completely flip entire industries upside down.
I'm still looking for opinions and interesting takes from people that are not as convinced or that have concerns
Thank you for reading and as always, keep a nice tone in the replies, we are just humans here trying to make sense of the world.
