🚨🚨 Tutorial: How to make Game Assets in Midjourney 🚨🚨 πŸ•ΉοΈ A quick and easy way to start making your own game asses for your next game or your next Dungeon on Dragons Campaign. πŸ”₯ Today I'll cover inventory items, and how to get them into Figma 🧡 Let's start
Let's start with the prompt, it's simple. And Would love to see how you can improve it. πŸ’¬ Default Icon of [ ITEM DESCRIPTION ] facing forward for character equipment in a Game UI for dungeons and dragons game, [COLOR MODE]
TLDR; We will make a bunch of these.
πŸͺ– Helmets A staple in your inventory, you can describe the helmet in more detail to generate different types of helmets. Just put [Helmet] in the [ITEM DESCRIPTION].
If we play with the color combo, we can make a Solid gold loadout by adding [Solid Gold on Gray] in the [COLOR MODE]
Or why not make a solid Sapphire Helmet, again just changing out the description or color mode.
πŸ‘” Chest Guard You can create Chest Guards or Chest plates, easily too, sometimes it misses and throws in a head, but most of the time it works. You can experiment with the description to get it right with the details you like, or the material you want to use.
Let's try to make a leather chest guard, by just adjusting the [ITEM DESCRIPTION] we can now make a leather chest guard.
πŸ‘– Pants We can generate leggings
We can also generate more detailed and luxurious leggings.
πŸ›Ό Boots I think it's nice to just do everything in gray clay to begin with and then go from there.
You can create all sorts of strange variations, grass, and moss boots, or leather and fur boots.
Let's look at some bonus equipment. Honestly, I think most of you have more fantasy than I have but here are some obvious things you can make.
πŸ—‘οΈ Swords
πŸ§ͺ Random Potions You can create all sorts of random potions to elevate your game experience.
πŸ“œ Magic Scrolls We can also make magic scrolls and endless variations to illustrate all kinds of use cases.
Ι¬ Belts
🧀Bracers Everyone need Bracers, good to have.
πŸͺ™ Coins/Amulets Collectables or characters too can use these type of representations.
You can upscale all assets rather well by clicking the "U" in
You can use the bulk background remover in MacOS if you want to isolate all your new game assets from the background twitter.com/LinusEkenstam/status/1629249843355844609?s=20
We can create some inventory boxes for us to place our objects. You can use @figma to create your Dungeon and Dragons Campaign for example and drop all your assets in there.
You can use @figma to create your Dungeon and Dragons Campaign for example and drop all your assets in there. Made an example here: figma.com/file/n8mrJMhkpVFZx4uT6nCpT9/%40LinusEkenstam---Game-Assets?node-id=0%3A1&t=dcSteedJJpIghfWY-1
You can obviously steer away from the "gray on gray" look and start tuning your own personal look, there is so much you can do here are some examples:
Thank you @RoflRAWR for getting me started with this, and for the idea for the prompts.
