India tops the list as the most racially intolerant country in the world, according to a comprehensive study of 81 nations.
India's neighbors - Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal - trump India when it comes to racial tolerance. Image uses a color-coded scale, with red indicating less tolerance and blue indicating more tolerance.
According to a global study conducted in over 81 countries, respondents were asked to identify the types of people they would not want as neighbors. Choosing "ppl of a different race" indicated higher levels of intolerance. In India, over 43.5 percent of people expressed that they would not want a neighbor of a different race. The corresponding figures for Pakistan and Bangladesh were only 6.5 percent and 28.3 percent, respectively.
What is the root cause of racial intolerance in India? The answer lies within its Brahmanical Varnashram system. This religiously ordained hierarchical division of society was originally intended to preserve racial purity and keep conquered races at lower rungs.
The Varnashram is a comprehensive system of laws and rules that govern every aspect of life for those following Brahmanism (Hinduism). This educational thread provides insights into the laws governing those following Varnashram System. twitter.com/moksha0013/status/1648541959454183425?s=20
The study also revealed that there is no correlation between economic freedom and racial tolerance. However, it does appear to correlate with tolerance towards homosexuals.
Among Anglo and Latin countries, tolerance is generally high, with the notable exception of oil-rich Venezuela. Surprisingly, France ranks as the least tolerant nation in Europe, while some former Soviet states like Belarus and Latvia exhibit higher levels of tolerance.
Pakistan is remarkably tolerant and stands out as an outlier. Pakistanis, possibly influenced by their Punjabi culture, exhibit even higher levels of racial tolerance compared to Germans or Dutch individuals.
