In India, over 43.5 percent of people expressed that they would not want a neighbor of a different race. The corresponding figures for Pakistan and Bangladesh were only 6.5 percent and 28.3 percent, respectively.

Among Anglo and Latin countries, tolerance is generally high, with the notable exception of oil-rich Venezuela. Surprisingly, France ranks as the least tolerant nation in Europe, while some former Soviet states like Belarus and Latvia exhibit higher levels of tolerance.

Pakistan is remarkably tolerant and stands out as an outlier. Pakistanis, possibly influenced by their Punjabi culture, exhibit even higher levels of racial tolerance compared to Germans or Dutch individuals.
