When nothing released the NOTHING OS beta software, many people thought that the software was overhyped and very boring. It received great criticism from tech enthusiasts and news articles alike.

Every android smartphone company has a software that has some unique features but the software is usually very similar looking only a few changes here and there. cont

For nothing to be successful their software HAD to be different because if it was the same/simiiar no one would have cared, and this is certainly a very radical approach to take.

I think even though the nothing OS is boring, this is the only choice for nothing to penetrate into the market. Unlike carl pei's old company(oneplus) starting, all smartphone software are now pretty good, so ' a fast and smooth smartphone OS is not unique' anymore.

For nothing to be successful people would really have to like the nothing os and its aesthetics, if they keep adding new features it can be a good android skin.
