Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

I live in one of the bluest parts of the DC metro area. In 2020, around my neighborhood I remember seeing two Trump signs. Walking the dog today, there are Younkin signs everywhere. I don't think the Dems realize how much the public schools have hurt them over the last year plus.
Some more data backing the idea that the mishandling of school closures in VA did real damage to the Democrats' chances in the gubernatorial race. Parents, even Democratic parents, are livid at the public schools. twitter.com/EchelonInsights/status/1454157176210173952?s=20
When I've tweeted in the past about how unnecessary the lengthy school closures in Virginia were and how much the unions screwed things up, I get flooded with hateful comments calling me a monster and saying I must not care about kids and teachers dying.
But lots of districts in other states didn't shut down for as long as Virginia did, and reopened earlier, and we didn't see mass outbreaks linked to schools. Virginia parents are aware of this, and it's reasonable for them to ask why their kids had to suffer unnecessarily.
The problem, though, is that if inept pandemic handling on the part of the public schools leads to a way of GOP victories, we're likely to also get terrible "patriotically correct" curriculum changes to protect conservative sensibilities by hiding important truths about the US.
