Everyone is always busy, hectic, and overwhelmed in this world.
Many try to decompress and make their life stress-free, but they often fail. Why?
Because they are looking for complicated answers to simple questions!
You canāt solve a problem by creating more problems, thatās what overcomplicating does.
Even the smallest changes in your life can add up and become part of a Zen and a calm daily routine.
Here are 10 tips:
1. Set limits
Stop doing things that donāt matter to you. Set a limit for social media and:
⢠Examine your schedule and available time.
⢠Survey and prioritize.
⢠Avoid last-minute commitments.
⢠Say "no" and "yes" and mean it.
2. Do something that brings your mind back online
Work out, go for a walk, do meditation, swim, take a bathā¦
Find out what works for you and do it.
3. Quit blaming
All that finger-pointing really just points us in the wrong direction.
We can empower ourselves to move forward and change the way we think and live.
You have to take responsibility for your actions, thoughts, and outcomes and stop blaming anyone.
4. Never exaggerate your problems
Donāt make mountains out of molehills. This creates a lot of unnecessary stress.
Zoom out and realize that things may not be that bad and you can handle them.
5. Have no fear
The only things you will regret are the chances and opportunities that you didnāt take because of fear.
āAll amazing things in your life happen on the other side of your fear.ā
Lifeās too short for sitting and waiting for all storms to pass.
6. Slow down
During a stressful and hectic time, probably the last thing on your mind is slowing down. But it really helps.
Modern life is so busy, and sometimes we just need to slow down and chill out.
Look at your life and find small ways you can do that.
7. Laugh more
Itās no secret that laughing feels good and it can cause stress relief.
⢠Laugh in your everyday situations
⢠Share a laugh with friends or family
⢠Watch stand-up comedy live
⢠Look up jokes online or in books
⢠Challenge yourself to laugh more
8. Ask
Reading minds is impossible, but we still often try it and create anxiety, uncertainty, and misguided conclusions for ourselves.
Instead of guessing whatās going on, just simply ask!
Itās hard at first but it will help you and others a lot.
9. Breathe
Pausing whatever you are doing in a stressful moment, and taking a few deep breaths can ease the pressure off of you.
1ļøā£Take a comfortable position.
2ļøā£Close your eyes.
3ļøā£Slowly take deep breaths in and out.
4ļøā£Do this for 5 to 10 minutes at a time.
10. Disconnect
Limit your internet activity.
How many hours a day do you spend on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and more? How does that make you feel?
So why not limit or even disconnect from these?
By implementing even a few of these habits, you should feel more grounded and less stressed.
If you want to improve your personal life but keep going back to your old destructive habits,
