Starting today, I'm joining Utopic Ventures as a Partner
I'll be helping @NeilThanedar (founder of Utopic) in supporting ambitious optimists change the world
Why am I doing this and what's in store?

Many of you know how much I love helping founders
My personal mission is to spend the next 4-5 decades of my career putting "more people in business" & empowering them to succeed
I currently do this via my @BIPF_ , my podcasts and more
Then one day @NeilThanedar pinged me
Neil and I go way back to early 2018-19 when we struck up a Twitter friendship. I remember him distinctly for being an "early believer" in me back when I was a nobody (career wise)
I could tell he had a strong instinct for ambitious people.. with or without pedigree/proof
Neil is insanely ambitious yet generous and approachable. A quality that makes him a rare unicorn in the VC land. That's what made me want to work with him.
His bio and track record speaks for itself.
He's a huge admirer of YC and @paulg (just like me)
On our call, he shared his obsession for helping ambitious founders over decades and presented Utopic's current thesis:
"accelerating scientific startups solving the world’s biggest problems"
I felt drawn in and then he said.. "KP, what if you ran our accelerator?"
I was inspired and started thinking of ways to add value to founders via an unparalleled founder program w/ a focus on GTM and build in public
Our journey begins with "scientific startups" but that's just part 1
We want to be early stage believers across many sectors gradually
Now, I'm not new to investing in and advising early stage founders.
So this opportunity will help me advance in my mission and extend my scope
Here's some relevant background/context:
In summary, at Utopic, we find scientists with world-changing ideas, help them launch startups, invest the first $50K-250K in these companies.
All this to say that I'm super excited partner with @NeilThanedar and build a buzzing program for Utopic founders & equip them with valuable superpowers (like GTM, building in public, fundraising etc.)
