Latam Status Match Opportunity

☀️ Another day, another status match opportunity. The Chilean carrier Latam is offering a status match program in partnership with StatusMatch.com where it is matching statuses from the following airlines for a one-time fee of $39. Look at the matrix below.

If you have followed one of my previous threads and obtained TAP Gold Status (the offer has ended now), this is an opportunity to use that and get the Platinum status with Latam. The elite benefits are as follows.

❓ Now why on earth would you want status with an airline from Chile? Unfortunately, Latam is no longer a part of any global alliance, it was previously a part of One World. However, it still has a decent partner network and some of its partners honor your elite benefits.

So if you are flying any of these airlines (and there are a few familiar names in there) a fee of $39 isn't a lot if you are able to derive value out of the benefits being offered.

Few things to keep in mind: 👉 The offer is valid till 31/10/2022 👉 The matched status is valid till 31/03/2023 👉 The status match is only open to residents of Chile and the US. This means that the country on your Latam profile must be US or Chile.
