It's my honor to announce the newest member of the Syko Near Bear Squad Team SG @sgartsypix Great to have you on board! SG is the visionary behind @SykoNearBears parallel venture the Syko Sentient Project.

We recently announced the Syko Sentient Project with great excitement! I would like to share more details of the project and a roadmap for this inspiring new venture.
@Anon666NFT@nearbigbrain@nearsupah
From inception, Syko’s vision has been to reward the community by sharing revenues from the project to its investors. Gaining wealth while simultaneously creating wealth for others is the ultimate value prospect. This ideal drew me to the project.
The team has discussed finding opportunities to expand our reach and truly make an impact for the greater good. Although, until recently we haven’t been able to realize our vision to use NFT art in this way.
Enter one of our SNBS investors, @sgartsypix, who approached me with the idea for what is now the Sentient Project.
“Bro!! I have a plan,” he says. “I wanna take being a Syko to the next level.”
He had my attention so I asked him how it would look and the ideas started flowing.
“For starters, I’ve been roaming around tiktok for quite some time now and I saw people giving back…so, since I am here in the Philippines, I want to give them something…I want to give especially the homeless people a chance to earn money by drawing a Syko Bear...
...depending on their style, it doesn’t matter how ugly the drawing, I will just give them materials and document the interaction. Then we’ll mint the drawing as an NFT and sell it. To help the people who draw the art we’ll give them 500 pesos (approximately 1N) for the drawing.”
SG’s passion is contagious and we immediately began planning a seed investing round and forming a team in the Philippines to begin.
But, why Sentient Project?
I’m glad you asked!
Sentient means the ability to perceive and feel things - self awareness. We crazy humans are sentient beings, but the screens, apps, and meta interactions often begin to isolate us from our own humanity.
The project goal is to help those in need financially, but as importantly to remind us all of our worth, our value, our own humanity. The homeless live on the fringes of our society, some by choice and some by circumstance.
The Sentient Project facilitates human interaction and strives to provide a measure of hope through art.
So, how does it work?
@SG has a team of four artists in the Philippines. Each team member, armed with art supplies and a full heart, reach out to homeless or needy individuals in their local community, explain our vision, and show them the SNBS project.
They offer 500 Pesos for a rendering of a SykoNearBear that we can keep. If the individual allows, the team also documents the interaction with photos or video, like the beautiful photo of Leena in the banner!
SG will then upload the artwork digitally and send it to our artist. Syko will render the drawing and mint it as an NFT. SNBS will soon hold open auctions for the NFT’s on Paras and the winner will also receive the physical art!

Revenue from the auctions will be divided in a way that rewards everyone involved, similar to a crowdfunding platform.
- 50% to the Artist wallet, which will be distributed to local artists.
- 25% to the Syko DAO for project administrative costs, re-investment, and further expansion to new international locations.
- 25% to the Syko Community wallet for distribution among SNBS investors.
In this way humanity gets a win all the way around!
So, where are we going from here?
I knew you were interested!
Yes, our goal is to expand into any locations that willing SNBS investors or partners want to get in on the action.
Pulling a 10X on an investment gets you jacked up right? Have you ever felt the dopamine hit from stepping out of your comfort zone and helping others?!?! Especially perfect strangers, people you may not ever associate with?
I’ll have SG share his teams experience from the field, but everyone can see the beautiful smile on Leena’s face! Imagine her reaction when she learns YOU bought her art and she is getting a payday.
It’s been said that giving is better than receiving. I like to receive for sure, but the most meaningful experiences of my 41 years on this ball of spinning dirt have been from giving back.
Join us!
As always,
