VCs never pass up the chance to make big bucks. And you?
The above infographic showcases protocols with tradable tokens that are backed by @a16z.
Now, let's delve into each of these protocols individually and identify the top projects in each category ↓
According to research published by @vaneck_us, analysts predict that in a realistic scenario, the price of $ETH is likely to soar to $11.8K by 2030.
I have no doubts that Ethereum will continue to be the leading L1 in the years ahead, especially once Danksharding is live.
In the case of @solana, a realistic scenario presented by VanEck suggests that the price of $SOL could reach $330 in 2030.
Notably, dApps such as @Hivemapper, @helium, and @rendernetwork are highlighted as some of the most promising projects within the ecosystem.
The future growth of @avax will undoubtedly be linked to its establishment as the go-to platform for institutions and forex trading.
According to @Investingcom, in an optimistic scenario, the price of $AVAX could potentially skyrocket to $40 by 2030.
The recent initiative by @CeloOrg to transition to an Ethereum L2 confirms that the rollup trend will present significant challenges for new L1s like @Aptos_Network, @SuiNetwork, and others.
It remains unclear how they will adapt to this new meta if my assumptions are correct.
❯ Creator Chains
Meanwhile, the potential of creator and purpose-specific chains to emerge as dynamic players in the Web3 landscape is intriguing.
• @flow_blockchain → dApps for mainstream adoption
• @Ronin_Network → GameFi
• @desoprotocol → SocialFi
Ronin stands out as the strongest player among @a16z's investments in this segment, primarily because there is a clear demand for Web3 gaming as a means to introduce non-crypto users to the world of crypto.
❯ DeFi
As much as I love sfrxETH, I highly doubt that any other liquid staking protocol will be able to challenge the dominance of @LidoFinance.
Therefore, it's undeniable that when the masses embrace Web3, $LDO will undoubtedly be one of the primary assets for accumulation.
When it comes to the other players in this segment, it is undeniable that @Uniswap, @MakerDAO, and @compoundfinance are the DeFi Bluechips. Their dominance in the upcoming years is highly unlikely to be challenged.
Btw, out of these three, $COMP is still trading at a good price.
Now, let's explore other categories that have the potential to generate excellent returns on investments in the future.
❯ RWA and DePIN
@goldfinch_fi, @helium, @ArweaveEco, and @OrchidProtocol – all are excellent protocols are all highly recommended for accumulation.
Here are the best performers:
• @goldfinch_fi: +340%
• @Ronin_Network: +120%
• @helium: +113%
• @avax: +101%
• @OasisProtocol: +74%
• @BasisCash: +64%
So if you had blindly copied a16z investments in mid-October, your portfolio would have yielded some good returns by now.
I have several projects featured in this thread included in my portfolio. For some, such as Ronin, I am currently waiting for a favorable entry point, anticipating corrections (similar to Solana).
a16z is one of the leading global VC firms, and their investments consistently demonstrate significant growth potential.
DYOR and invest wisely ;)
