Pranayama is an ancient practice of breath control and a great way to bring balance and harmony to our body and mind, promote relaxation, and improve physical health - not to mention give the degen in each of us a little stress relief 😎

#Ujjayi breathing is a powerful yogic breathing technique that helps to calm the mind and body. It involves a slow, deep inhalation and exhalation through the nose while constricting the back of the throat. Awkward at first, yes, but give it a try! #breathing

Then we have the Nadi Shodhana breathing technique. Alternate breathing through each nostril to help balance the energy in your body and clear your mind. #breathingexercise

#Bhastrika breathing is another powerful technique that helps to calm the mind and body. Involves taking deep breaths in and out through the nose, with each breath lasting for the same amount of time. Try 20-30, see how you feel!

#Kapalabhati helps to boost, purify and energize the body. It involves rapid, rhythmic inhalations and exhalations that also help to clear the mind.
