Stapleverse & SAPIENZ: Bullish on the Future of Fashion

Throughout the 🐻, I have been consolidating my bags into a few NFT projects that I really believe in. Some of the projects I sold, I still liked but I also didn't have the time to adequately devote into those investments. Your time is your most important asset in the space.

I wanted to start a few 🧵s about the projects I strongly believe in at the moment. One of those projects is @stapleverse. We're coming up on 1 year since mint of our Feed Clan tokens & phase 1 of the SV ecosystem. We're about to enter phase 3 & I couldn't be more excited!

So why do I own over 40 @stapleverse Feed Clan, Poop Gang, and Hood Squad tokens in anticipation of the phase 3 SAPIENZ drop?! Let's check out all the reasons 👇

THE ART The tokens themselves are FREE mint passes 1:1 for SAPIENZ characters designed by @rhymezlikedimez 🔥🔥🔥. The fact that you get new PFPs by one of the hottest artist in the game made this a no 🧠er. Just look at some of these early character previews we've gotten!

THE TEAM @jeffstaple is a legend in "the culture" but he's assembled an amazing team of operators @BennyGiang - of CryptoKitties & NBA TopShot fame is an OG when it comes to building out top tier NFT product UX & brings @futureprimitive w/ him as top devs & designers in web3

THE TEAM (continued)... @nfandwhitetees - has partnership connections & experience like no other given his time in the music and arts industry @stevejang - runs Kindred Ventures VC fund and has a history of support Jeff & other world changing entrepreneurs in their ventures

MINT EXPERIENCE Your current SV tokens gets transferred into a token-bound vault (TBV) at mint. You don't have to burn your phase 1/2 art from the amazing @BThomStevenson! The tokens' rarity also affects the rarity of your 1st outfit drop w/ SAPIENZ introducing gamification!

The fact that you get a 1:1 SAPIENZ, outfits w/ rarity, & the chance for those to become STAPLEVERSE physicals excites me. It also solves the "@oddities_xyz" problem where rare tokens don't auto get rares in new collection but still see upside from premium outfit drops 🔥

TOKEN BOUND VAULTS TBVs mean your character is now its own wallet that can hold other crypto, NFTs, & have @ensdomains, connect to dApps, etc. You don't just get a PFP, you get a full identity! For me, this concept of identity is important to the evolution of PFPs in web3.

TBVs & IDENTITY (cont). PFPs took off as an NFT category b/c people wanted pseudo-anonymous identities they could "own" across platform in web3 so they bought PFP NFTs and ENS domain NFTs. That identity, while portable, is still static (image, name, no ownership of items).

TBVs & IDENTITY (cont). TBVs & SV's implementation of dynamic NFTs change that by endowing your NFT character w/ the ability to change outfits, a name, the ability to own things, the ability to communicate & interact w/ the web3 dAPP ecosystem as a full-fledged participant!

TBVs & IDENTITY (cont). c. Stronger identity for our PFPs as we can thematically build them out - a character who is a sneakerhead & accumulates all the 👟 drops from across the metaverse and then sells that "brand" to another sneakerhead d. Opens gamification possibilities

"C-DIVISION" SAPIENZ drops will unlock workshops you can take to learn more about art, fashion & sneaker design, etc. Complete workshops, get promoted to C-Division & co-create w/ masters of their craft such as @jeffstaple to bring products & experiences to life - UTILITY!
