"More power to the Designer" - I have always believed in this phrase.
To me It means that any tool or task that gives designers more control in the cycle of product development will result in a superior product.
With the introduction of tools such as @framer and @webflow, designers can create their own Landing Page experiences, and I don't think I need to elaborate on the result.
Landing pages are significantly more polished and interactive than they once were.
The next major move for any of these companies would be to deploy prototypes on actual links. Consider @framer sites for scalable products.
You can build the entire experience on Figma, make it responsive, and deploy it to a testing link with a single click.
To gain more power as a designer, I always advise any designers to delve deeper into the product development cycle.
Be part of brainstorming session when your PM is making the PRD
Talk to developers in CSS/Code terms when they are developing your design.
To summarize, the goal of a designer should be to bring the best of a product to the stage.
If your design/idea does not translate into a good product, you should consider participating more in the product development cycle.
It also makes you Recession-Proof.
