Last month, the @RBI went live with a pilot of the #digital rupee.
The intent is to reduce dependence on cash, lower transaction costs, and enable an efficient transfer of money digitally, using a QR code.
But this begs the question, “Am I not doing all this using UPI already? Why would I ever want to use this?”
