I was about to buy concert tickets for my brother and me to see Meshuggah tomorrow night. However, we're not going because I refuse to pay over $70 in "service and fulfillment" fees.

What a fucking joke! I'm frustrated—Meshuggah is one of my all-time favorite bands, and who knows if I'll ever get another chance to see them. But I just can't go along with that.

The absurdity? Buying two tickets in the SAME order and getting hit with double the service and fulfillment fees. It's daylight robbery! And that's before parking and extras even come into play.

I am boycotting that! As badly as I want to see them, I just won't do that. We're taxed for every damn thing in this country just in our daily lives, and even when we want to find just a little enjoyment, we're taxed to hell there too. Fuck that!

I tried calling the venue's box office during work hours but couldn't reach anyone to see if I could buy tickets there and avoid the online fees. Most box offices close after 6 PM, forcing you to buy tickets online 🤬

Maybe you've heard that high Service and Fulfillment Fees are due to online bidding wars and complex tech. That's absolute nonsense! As someone in the tech field, I can tell you that's simply not the case!

This country is tangled in pointless red tape where it's not needed and utterly lacks oversight where it counts. How do we change things like this?



Concert Ticket Fee Frustration

@arcinternet is still my fav browser, hands down! Has so many nice features that make it hard to consider other options. Not that I'm trying to leave, but like others, questioned the ongoing support with it. However, Arc really improves my workflow, and that really matters!

Finally started working on my app idea. It's going to be a better project, team, and client management productivity app without all the unnecessary fluff. I aim to create a lean management tool with awesome features and a UI that surpasses what I see from others in this space.

What's your take on using the term "Handcrafted" when people are referring to digital design?

I don't think I like this much because it's really not. I always associated "Handcrafted" with things that were physically crafted by human hands. Meaning a physical touch. Just odd 🤨
