With a limit of 3 habits, the free version of this app won't cut it.
Luckily, the subscription prices are reasonable, and they even offer a lifetime premium option that's significantly cheaper than @UseHabitify.

1οΈβ£ Logistics
Platforms:
β’ Webapp β , Desktop App β , Mobile App β , WatchOS App β , Offline β , Windows β, Android β
Health Data
β’ Syncs w/ Apple Health β & Google Fit β

β’ Reasonable pricing β

β’ One great aspect of Awesome Habits is its robust integration into shortcuts. β
However, it falls short in that it uses a custom dictionary type, which means you can't use a list of habits in text format. β
Awesome Habits rarely experiences any bugs or crashes, even with over 100 trackers in use. β
This makes it a reliable habit tracker for those looking for a stable platform.
2οΈβ£ UI/UX of Awesome Habits:
β’ No search for habit list β
β’ Groups shown on watch for quick access β
β’ Quick complete on watch β
β’ Gesture support/enhancement β
This is the main focus of awesome habits. Beautiful interactions and gestures that feel native. β€οΈ
3οΈβ£ Management
β’ Quick habit management β
β’ Quick area management β
β’ Change time slot regions β.
You cannot modify EOD but the app opens and uses the previous day habit checks until 4am in your time zone β
β’ Badge count options β
You can choose between showing no badge count or showing badge count for the the goal interval You can change it to show badge count by list too (for example, show work habits only as count).
4οΈβ£ Main Featues
β’ Multiple Reminders β
β’ Skip/Complete a habit β
β’ Fail a habit β
It allows you to skip a habit (in case you had a situation where completing a habit was not possible).
β Marking a habit as skipped moves it to the end of the list too.
β’ Next habit due date set based on completion date β
This is one thing I find missing in a lot of habit trackers.
The only app I have found that does this well is unfortunately @todoist and hence, my items like "Remove recycle" stay in @todoist
β’ Good habits vs bad habits β
You can create a bad habit that logs as successful automatically if you do not complete it by end of the day.
β Bad habits can be both: limited by none and limited by quantity
β’ Health Synced Habits β
It has ALL the integrations with Apple Health that you can ever need. You can even choose between time in bed vs time asleep for sleeping which is a bonus.
β’ Streak view β , Vacation mode β and Challenges β
I personally do not care about either of the three, but for people who do, it has one of the most "iOS" looking streaks but there are still no easy way to share those as tweets (you need to take a screenshot)
Awesome Habits offers habit start dates and the ability to archive them β , but doesn't show overdue habits scheduled for a specific day β.
Overall, it's good for organizing habits, but not ideal for tracking overdue ones.
β’ Log in the past β
Awesome Habits offers the option to check past records for habits, making it easy to ensure that your logs are complete. This feature comes in handy if you need to go back and double-check any missed data.
β’ One limitation of Awesome Habits is that you can't log pre-decided quantities for habits. β
For example, if you want to track medication in milligrams, you can't set a preset quantity to add. While there are some pre-defined options available, you can't customize them .
5οΈβ£ Good to Have Features
β’ β Unfortunately, the app doesn't allow you to set habits to show up at specific times of the day.
For example, if you only want the "go to gym" habit to show up in the evening, you can't do that, which can clutter your habit list.
β’ Batch check-in β
If you missed tracking your habits for a few days, you can't easily mark them as done altogether. You have to manually check each day which can be time-consuming.
β’ Great news! Awesome Habits comes with pre-built habit templates that work seamlessly and cater to the needs of the majority, making it easy to get started with habit tracking. β
β’ You can level up your habit game by stacking multiple habits one after the other, a great hack for those with ADHD.
But, if you're using Awesome Habits, keep in mind that it lacks smart reminders, location-based reminders, and habit stacking options. β
β’ Progress photos β
β’ Progress notes β
While Awesome Habits allows you to add progress/habit notes for your entries (great for tracking your cat's food preferences), it lacks the ability to add photos to track your progress, for example, if you're learning latte art.
β’ Habit Summary β
β’ Build habit with a friend β
β’ Motivational Quotes β
Awesome habits does not have option to send you a habit summary or to build a habit with a friend. It also does not have an option to check out motivational quotes.
@UseHabitify is an alternative worth considering if you want a cross-platform app with enhanced social features.
