🔄 Adding Support for Atomic Swaps

We've improved how you can perform trustless asset exchanges between #microchains. Here's how we solved a common challenge with swapping assets. ↓ 

Traditionally, transferring assets within microchains is smooth, but swapping with another user could hit a snag if they don't reciprocate promptly. We've devised a more reliable method to ensure swaps are secure and efficient.

⛓️ Enter the temporary chain: a special type of microchain where both users can create blocks but with limited permissions, making swaps truly atomic. 

This means the transaction either happens completely or not at all, keeping your assets safe. 🔒 

This capability is demonstrated in our updated matching-engine app. Now, users can initiate swaps knowing they can either complete the exchange or retrieve their tokens without dependency on the other party.

The second latest addition is an NFT demo app that showcases the creation, management, and transfer of Non-Fungible Tokens within Linera’s architecture.

Our new demo showcases seamless #NFT transfers between accounts—all within the same chain. ↓
