The tragedy is to see how Holmes, Andersen, Garry, Rasmussen, Debarre, etc pushed a particularly unlikely form of zoonosis (double jump at the market), simply as a quick and easy answer to Xiao et al, that had destroyed their previously equally rushed pangolin narrative. @DrJBhattacharya @BiosafetyNow x.com/Rebecca21951651/status/1866203420874424395
The irony is that Xiao et al was refused by many scientific journals, and delayed for ages, precisely because it contradicted the pangolin doxa of Proximal Origin, and thus Holmes, Garry, Andersen, etc.
Faced with their pangolin lemon, the same people then pretended that the presence of raccoon dog at the market had been hidden by China (when it was in Xiao et al and also disclosed to WHO in August 2020), as they crafted their replacement raccoon dog narrative.
If there is an example of paper fraud and total disrespect for Chinese scientists, that must be it. And, on the very day Gao released his market samples findings in Feb 2022, the same crew rushed to publish their own preprints and to swamp the media with their narrative, thus burying Gao’s findings. x.com/gdemaneuf/status/1498829095903260672
And they did it again in March 2023:
These are the very compromised scientists who talk about the importance of cooperation with China, while back-stabbing Chinese scientists to protect their normally career-ending artificial narratives. gillesdemaneuf.medium.com/full-text-proximal-origin-a-tragicomedy-of-our-times-draft-p2-39b90684bf01#3041
