I have just found out that Proximal Origin is listed in 'Unreliable' (Csaba Szabo, Columbia University Press) as a recent example of a biased review article. Well done Holmes, Andersen, Garry and Rambaut! Your contribution to biased science is being recognised in text-books.
With a very relevant quote from their Slack messages in footnote 67 of Chapter 5.
And a funny cartoon on the following page: “I've been sent home to lay low. If anyone asks, no one in my virology lab knows anything about a rampaging army of pangolin-bat hybrids.”
