Three months ago, we launched @RugRadio. After releasing 20K Member Passes, 20K Genesis NFTs, a token and a DAO, we are proud to present you all the RugDAO Council, which was formed last week, followed by the launch of $RDAO, thus finalizing roadmap 1.0!

1/ Our first step in launching the DAO was to nominate 33 individuals to the RugDAO Council, voted in by our holders. The 33 beautiful faces/avatars you see in the image above will now help us build the future decentralized media, and I want to present them all to you! ๐
2/ @OSF_NFT has been an avid support of Rug Radio since its inception and one of our largest holders, on top of being one of the most consistent hosts! His experience in TradFi and collecting in Web3 will help us a lot.
3/ @GreatMando_NFT has an incredible collection alongside his partner OSF with whom he has worked for years now, co-hosts the "gm NFTs โ๏ธ" show with us every morning, and has great ideas to bring to the RugDAO and its community!
4/ @BETTY_NFT co-founded the Deadfellaz with her husband Psych, a collection that has done over 26K ETH in volume so far, and that is one of the most recognizable brands in the NFT space today. Not only that, but Betty is an important and prominent female voice in the space!
5/ @Richerd, the man, myth and legend who co-founded Manifold, one of the most important companies in the Web3/NFTs space today. Richerd is one of the top experts when it comes to smart contracts, tokens, and is actively empowering artists to become their own platforms!
6/ @KeithGrossman himself! As current President of TIME and former Global CRO at Bloomberg, his depth of knowledge is a blessing to us! Keith is a force to be reckoned within the Web2 media space, where he leads one of the most important organizations in the industry.
7/ @AnjKapoor, who was head of marketing Asia Pacific for Dow Jones and WSJ! Prior to that, Anjali was marketing director at Warner Media and CNN. Needless to say her expertise in media will be of immense help!
8/ @JohnLegere, where do I start?! John is the former CEO and president of T-Mobile US, nominated Top-CEO in the USA from 2016 to 2020. On top of being a great businessman, John Legere is an incredible philanthropist focusing a lot of his time and efforts giving back.
9/ @InnaModja is an artist, a community builder and a climate and gender activist. Inna serves as the Head of Philanthropy at World of Women and a UN Climate Ambassador!
10/ @Mkriak, Managing Operating Partner at ConsenSysMesh, an accelerator and incubator of blockchain technology solutions, and former COO of Mashable. The titles speak for themselves, but having Mike is specifically great because he has a lot of DAO experience as well!
11/ @KeyboardMonkey3, aka the equity pusher extraordinaire, crypto/stock and illiquid jpeg trader brings a good balance to the always bullish, with some realist takes. He is a great source of treasury management advice and good at analyzing and helping solve problems!
12/ @Ed_Balloon has been a supporter and a host of Rug Radio since the very first day. He is a community member and a multi-talented artist that stops at nothing to make sure that the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities are represented and heard in the space, and we thank him for that!
13/ @FlynnKristina is arguably one of the biggest advocates for inclusivity and diversity in Web3. Kristina co-founded an impact data technology company, and a a talent agency working to increase access and exposure to over 1000 underrepresented artists in web3 by 2025!
14/ @0xLoxley, a fellow community member who found out about Rug Radio early on and became a very big supporter amongst friends and partners! Loxley has been very active in our Discord and on Twitter but also stepped up when we needed dev help for our voting platform. Thank you!
15/ @BoredApe1000, one of Rug Radio's largest holders and supporters! As a Managing Partner of a Fortune 500 company, 1K helped create and implement go-to-market strategy and business development and growth in the past.
16/ @PatrickWagner, one of our first ever hosts on Rug Radio and a great figure of inclusivity in the space. On top of being an entrepreneur for close to 30 years, Patrick's expertise is building teams and departments will be of great help to the DAO.
17/ @sgsand1, is a partner in a VC called Lofty Ventures where he has over 60 portfolio companies, 70% of which are led by teams with minority and/or female founders. He also has experience as he was a C-suite at 4 startups, 2 of which were venture-backed!
18/ @1stnattasha is an avid community builder! She has been building global communities with Clubhouse as their International Community and Content Consultant, mainly focusing on India & Germany.
19/ @uhlex, in Web2, manages a team that is specifically dedicated to working with media partners on behalf of large corporate clients and in Web3, shitposts with the mfer family and lends his expertise to build community!
20/ @lifewithart_ is one of our first regular Rug Radio hosts! She has been teaching high school for over 20 years and was Department Head of Arts for 10 years.
21/ @lorigraceaz is a former associate pastor, public affairs speaker, journalist and Director of MonsoonCon (conference dedicated to weather enthusiasts and photographers), and a prolific Twitter Spaces host, dedicated towards outreach and representation in the space!
22/ @AndyLenz, founder of t3n Magazine, Germany's biggest platform for digital pioneers with around 100 employees, 5M+ readers per month, 500k social media followers, podcasts, guides, a print magazine and much more!
23/ @KimberlyDillon is a cannabis marketing exec jumping into the Metaverse, has experience in managing large teams and in DAOs as well, where she helps a venture DAO invest in female creators.
24/ @justRyanBeltran founded a nonprofit that turns students into citizen science innovators for water. He will contribute through onboarding students to Web3 and more!
25/ @nDAgrND, or Ami, is an entrepreneur who has a background in advertising and branding has helped brands establish their voice in the market!
26/ @DaitoYoshi has worked for 15 years at one of the largest asset management firms in the world with over $10T in AUA. His skillset includes project management, ideation, and marketing/branding!
27/ @VickWowo works in Sports & NFT Strategy at Microsoft, he brings a technology executive point of view to the Web3 communities he is a part of today and has been a very long time supporter of Rug Radio and I!
28/ @JessArtemisia is a community MVP and one of our Discord mods who aligned with our vision and spends a lot of time helping the Rug Radio community and making sure things are organized and that people are heard and answered to.
29/ @aplusinsurances is always here to make sure women are heard and included in the conversation! She's served many positions in the events space and participated in many advisory boards, focus groups, and committees.
30/ @msuberndog is experienced investor and business person who will always prioritize the community!
31/ @KenobiDesignsI has 10+ years experience serving on multiple boards at a state level building partnerships, organizing events and exercising governance document compliance review for communities. Looking forward for his help in IRL experiences!
32/ @afearfuljesuit has led sizeable teams in asset management and been on corporate board of directors in both a personal and professional basis. Having managed other peoples assets during his professional life, he knows to operate in the best interest of the DAO!
33/ @AndreFuks1 must be our youngest council member if I am not mistaken! He is always here to ask questions and wants to help expand Rug Radio in Spanish!
34/ @JohnSwetnam has directed and produced movies, which is all about leading a team. He ran his own production company and is currently a writer/producer on a series for Bad Robot/DC comics at HBO Max.
35/ It's an honour for us, the Rug Radio team, to be able to work with 33 savvy and driven individuals who all share the same vision with us, to build a fully decentralized Web3 media ecosystem where we, the people, own the narrative, the conversations and the memes.
36/ The next steps are about to get very exciting and I will be sharing them with you all in another thread, as this one got quite long. For now, the first focus of the DAO Council will be to create the formal governance frameworks for the RugDAO.
37/ This will be done under a guidance that is set forward by SyndicateDAO and the Rug Radio core team and the council will split up and focus on different areas of the framework. When the council lands on a clear set of governance framework options,
38/ then the Rug Radio holders will vote on which of the frameworks will be accepted as the base foundation of the DAO. The frameworks include partnerships, treasury, sub-DAOs, core team, creators, tokenomics and more!
39/ This is a really exciting time for us and I am looking forward to the future of Rug Radio and the RugDAO! It's time to take things to the next level and the future is very bright. Join us, it's never too late! ๐งฉ
