Here's a pro tip to save time when aligning layers.

Mouse is my weapon of choice to deliver high-quality designs quickly.

But let's be real: Figma's alignment icons are frustrating to use, even with keyboard shortcuts. I want to keep things minimal and efficient.

I found a perfect solution using Logi Options.

Press the thumb button and move it in the direction you want a layer to align. That's it ✨

Here's the setup:

For horizontal and vertical center alignment, I use back & forward buttons:

Bonus tip:

Assign these buttons for quicker paste actions:

Paste over selection:
Thumb button (click): ⌘CMD + Shift + V

Paste to replace:
Wheel button (click): ⌘CMD + Shift + R
