As you get more acquainted with @tana_inc, one of the more powerful features is to use different views.
Tana supports table, tabs, cards, calendar, and side menu. Let's dive into tables today.
The table view allows you to easily formulate any data in a table, and put fields on the side. These are the same fields that we encountered earlier when structuring meetings.
We will build a x-mas present list, and I started by entering some ideas (using @tana_inc's AI helper)
Next, we want to track who to give which gift. So we add a field to the right, and configure it to be an instance field of type person.
This allows for easy filling of the recipient from all the people I tagged in Tana. Next, I add another field called "Estimated Price", and configure it to be an number field, enhanced with AI.
Clicking the ✨ AI button next to the field, the fills in all the estimated prices automatically using GPT. And, we right click the field, select "Calculate", then "Sum", and we have a nice shopping list!
Tables also support sorting, filtering, and many more calculations. Try them out and see how you can use them during your day!
