1/ Are you stuck in a Victim mentality lately? NGL - I am too 🫤
Let's briefly explore why mindset matters & steps to become a Warrior!
*Crypto Edition*
3/ I don't want to be a Victim! I'm a Warrior, damnit!
But how can I be a Warrior when every day feels like such a struggle? Like I have no control & am forever destined for bad things to keep happening to me?
The awful thoughts kept coming... I had to change my mindset ASAP.
4/ Our mindset is a combination of both our conscious (& unconscious) thoughts, beliefs, emotions & attitudes. It is the "lens" we view the world through & our place in it - therefore our mindset directly impacts how we act & react to our lives & surroundings.
5/ “Mind is a flexible mirror; adjust it to see a better world."
― Sri Amit Ray
6/ Mindsets aren't necessarily all-encompassing. For example, someone could be a "Victim" in personal relationships (stuck in a loveless marriage yet unwilling to leave) but a "Warrior" at work (top performer, boss bitch, etc).
7/ What makes a Victim?
Victims can be quite negative people. Because of past traumas, bad things will continue to happen to them. They blame others for their circumstances. When they are unhappy, they are full of excuses as to why they cannot overcome their misfortune.
8/ What makes a Warrior?
Warriors must fight to be warriors every day. They are no stranger to trauma, however they actively choose to turn misfortune into growth opportunities. They find the "silver-lining." Warriors don't lose - they learn.
9/ "I focus on only the things I have total control over: my effort and my attitude. I love what I do and I attack each day with joy and enthusiasm."

10/ Ex: Your alt coin does a 10x!
Victim: "It's just dumb luck"
Instead of taking profits, they probably end up even or negative since 'good things never happen to me.'
Warrior: "I deserve this"
They put in the work to be in the right place at the right time & savor the WIN.
11/ Ex: Your friend's alt coin does a 10x!
Victim: "You got lucky on your shit coin"
Likely feeling extreme jealousy.
Warrior: "Great job ser!"
Happy for friend. Practices gratitude. Takes opportunity as a learning experience instead of making it about them.
12/ Ex: You get rugged/hacked/project goes to $0
Victim: "Woe is me"
They give up. Everything is stacked against them, why bother?
Warrior: "Man, those BTC Maxis don't seem so bad after all"
Finds the silver-lining. They turn the negative into a positive. They keep going.
13/ It sucks to be a rekt #LUNAtic right now… But no one is born a Warrior - we must fight to be Warriors every day. Let's lick our wounds & take actionable steps to change our mindset & move forward.
14/ So what does that silver-lining look like?
For me:
-Practicing gratitude (I still have my health, my family, my day job)
-Journaling & Meditating
-Not leaving Crypto during the Bear Market
15/ Specific to Crypto:
-Have a plan & stick to it so I'm not at the mercy of my emotions
-Hopium is not the answer
-Don’t ignore the FUD... I was in denial of my confirmation bias
-Continue learning & researching new projects
-Maintain friendships in crypto community
17/ "And we recognized the most important lesson anyone can ever learn about failure: the only true failure is giving up."
