Our director put together these super thoughtful questions for us to answer during our performance feedback meeting:
1. What can I do to make your job more enjoyable?
2. What (if any) concerns do you have when it comes to giving me feedback? How can I alleviate those concerns?
3. How do you prefer to receive feedback and/or recognition for your work?
4. What are two to three things I could do differently to better manage you?
Managers, how would your direct reports answer these? Have you asked them lately?
