How-to verify Ordinals in an @EmblemVault ⚪️
Sales of Ordinals are starting to take off on Opensea using Emblem Vault, so I wanted to make a quick thread to ensure you get the Ordinal you pay for.

Step 1
Find the Ordinal inscription of the one you want to purchase on the Ordinals website.
In this example, I'm using this alien 👉
ordinals.com/inscription/96dd786aba618a138ae679e09f3db02366a917f69c617cdac8e8b77a2b8d7c0ai0
Step 2
Note the "address"
This is the Bitcoin wallet address that holds the Ordinal.
Step 3
Go to the Opensea listing of the Ordinal that you want to purchase.
In this example, it's here 👉 opensea.io/assets/ethereum/0x82c7a8f707110f5fbb16184a5933e9f78a34c6ab/40266239799564391
Step 4
Confirm that you are on the legitimate @EmblemVault collection by scrolling over the "Emblem Vault" link.
The pop-up should show a volume of more than 37,000 ETH with 31k items.
🚨This is a 100% critical step, as scammers will create fake Emblem Vault collections.
Step 5
Click the "More" button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
Then click "View website"
This will open a new tab in your browser.
Step 6
In the new tab, scroll down and click this button.
Step 7
Once you click the button, a pop-up will reveal the Bitcoin wallet address contained within the Emblem Vault.
Step 8
Now compare the wallet address that just popped up with the address you got in Step 2.
If they match, congratulation 🥳
That Emblem Vault holds the Ordinal you want to buy!
