A quick thread about everything I know about possibly the oldest NFT contract on Ethereum that's gone crazy with ~90k mints in the last few hours.
2015 Name Registrar🤯
Minting instructions below 👇
🚨DYOR on this and understand there are risk with interacting with this contract.🚨
The contract isn't verified, so we don't know precisely what's behind it. It could have a kill switch, or the dev could take your NFTs. 🤷🏼♂️
Turn away if you do not accept 100% responsibility.
The contract was written by an OG developer named "linagee" and is an early attempt to make a naming service like ENS
You can claim names, and those names can't be claimed again.
One difference is that CAPITAL letters can be used as well as s p a c e s.

Step 2 - Enter the name you want to claim in the "Name" box.
In this example, I'm trying to mint the name Adam (with a capital A).
Step 3 - Click "Search"
Notice in this example I am getting an "Uavailable" error message. This tells me that the name is already claimed.
Step 4 - Try again with a new name. This one is available so click "REGISTER"
Then confirm the transaction in your MetaMask.
✅The gas shouldn't be more than $2. So if it's more than that REJECT the transaction and try again.
Currently, you can't trade the NFTs trustlessly. So be VERY careful making OTC trades🙏
I know @m_keresty is vigorously working on a wrapper and I would expect one to be live by the end of the day.
This will enable the NFTs to show on Opensea.🚀
