It is curious that @greenhousemove considers their daycare an official part of their mission, since they demonstrate a pattern of carelessness with children's safety.
This section from the @HuschBlackwell report shows how Anne and Nate Beasley did not notify parents at the daycare center about Joel Girard, a sexual predator. The phrase "worked in a daycare center but never in an actual classroom" is naive at best.
We also have the testimony from Beth Thompson, former @greenhousemove administrator. According to Thompson, Beasley committed insurance fraud by saying that he does background checks and creates sexual abuse policies for volunteers and then just...not doing it.
So @greenhousemove--that apparently considers childcare important enough to list on their annual report--did not run background checks, did not implement sexual abuse policies, and thinks it's ok to let a sexual abuser wander around a church-run daycare.
Why is this important? Because Stewart Ruch and @MidwestAnglican are trying to pretend that @greenhousemove isn't their problem and they're not responsible for the hot mess. But they are responsible.
Let's look at the Bishop's Council minutes from December 2020. First we have Stewart authorizing a model where churches tithe 5% to @MidwestAnglican and 5% to @greenhousemove or other ministries. Entirely separate, huh?
Then, Stewart tells the Bishop's Council that William Beasley gets a copy of his annual review in his role as "our Missioner General of the Mission Society [@Greenhousemove]" Again, separate doesn't exactly describe this situation.
Finally, here's Stewart telling the Bishop's Council that COLA is "one of our smaller diocesan churches" and he has the authority to make them "suspend services for a season." But sure, Stewart has no role in choosing COLA's leadership.
