With XRP it allows company X to transfer to company Y instantly/with no foreign exchange fees.
Compared to โฌ๏ธ fees & 3-5 days it takes a bank to make payments across boarders.

XRP ledger it where transactions occur/are recorded.
Decentralising the ledger has made it more resilient and resistant to a single point of failure.
The ledger operates on an open-source code base that is supported by validators, and a team of full-time engineers who promptly develop/maintain the ledger.

As opposed to $BTC being a mined digital asset - which is inefficient due to computing power and environmental impact.
XRP isn't a mined digital asset, meaning every token that exists has already been created.
