Gdy dochodzi do rzutów karnych, strzelający ma ogromną przewagę nad bramkarzem. Statystyki mówią, że nawet aż 90% strzałów w profesjonalnej lidze ląduje w bramce.
Więc co ma zrobić bramkarz, który w karnych jest niemal skazany na porażkę? 🤔
Nic.
W sensie, że powinien stać w miejscu, zamiast zgadywać gdzie strzeli napastnik i rzucać się w tę stronę. To na środku bramki ma największe szanse na obronę:
Do takich wniosków doszli uczeni badający setki strzałów na bramkę. Dowodzą, że bramkarza do ruchu zmusza psychologiczny efekt konieczności działania. Gdyby po prostu stał w miejscu i nie obronił, to kibice mieliby mu to za złe. A tak przynajmniej próbował, tylko się pomylił🤷♂️
W psychologii nazywa się to "action bias", czyli konieczność zrobienia czegokolwiek, byle tylko nie być bezczynnym.Nie wiem na ile ta teoria faktycznie sprawdza się w piłce nożnej, ale na pewno działa w świecie inwestycji.
Jak powiedział Charlie Munger, partner Warrena Buffetta:
„Trudno jest siedzieć z całą gotówką i nic nie robić. Nie dotarłem tam, gdzie jestem, goniąc za przeciętnymi okazjami”.
Tymczasem co robią statystyczni inwestorzy? Gdy gotówka pali ich w ręce to kupują coś tylko dlatego "że spadło". Albo realizują zyski jak tylko zobaczą...
...kilka procent na plusie. Próbują przewidzieć pivot Fedu, złapać dołek albo kupić akcje dzień przed wynikami finansowymi, bo może będą lepsze od oczekiwań 🫠
Każdemu z nas się to zdarza, tymczasem trzeba być jak ten bramkarz, który po prostu czeka, a nie tylko zgaduje.
Jeszcze lepszym porównaniem jest baseball, gdzie statystycznie po prostu nie opłaca się odbijać wszystkich piłek. Szkoda sił, lepiej je oszczędzać na piłki, które dają największe prawdopodobieństwo zdobycia punktu.
Ale gdy taka nadleci...
...to trzeba mieć siłę ją uderzyć, czyli mieć kapitał i umiejętności. I potrafić odróżnić przeciętną okazję inwestycyjną od tej wyjątkowej.
