Played around with the @0xFrame wallet. Summarizing my thoughts on my experience below:
TLDR: Different experience than what I'm used to, but nice. There's definitely a learning curve, but once you adjust the settings to the way you like it, you definitely feel in control of your wallets. Suggested for those who are crypto native and like control over their exp.
Before I start: This thread was inspired by @Chinchillah_ 's great thread on wallet options. Definitely recommend to check it out! twitter.com/Chinchillah_/status/1618322758110412801
Things I like: ✅ The overall customizability of the wallet. As a customization nerd, I like to be in control of my UX. ✅ The ability to manually toggle site permissions. ✅ The super neat summary of my NFTs (doesn't seem to work outside of Mainnet).
Things I like (contd.) ✅ The auto-hide paired with the glide feature (can just swipe my mouse on the right of my screen and my wallet will show up without clicking buttons). ✅ The ability to add custom RPCs easily and designate a primary and secondary RPC.
Things I like (contd. 2) ✅ The dashboard when posting a transaction is very neat and gives you tons of detail!
Features to add/improve: ❗️ Automatically add tokens (at least the popular ones) to my wallet so I don't have to manually add the contract address (on more chains). ❗️ Allow for easy sending between saved wallets. Great time saver and avoids making mistakes.
Features to add/improve (contd.): ❗️ Summary of token permissions. It's a shame that I can't easily view all of my token permissions and revoke them if within the wallet.
Overall, if you're tired of MM (dare I say the full name on Twitter) and want more control over your Web3 experience, I suggest you give @0xFrame a try. Looking forward to the team adding features to make the wallet more user-friendly but still keeping its charm.
